Such a positive experience! - Heartfelt thanks to Hector for his passion in conservation and for his motivation to support all the animals in their care. He provided a really insightful tour taking time to give interesting backgrounds on all the animals. While the stories were sad I was happy to see the efforts made to give the animals the best possible life with the funds they have available. I was so moved by the whole experience I was happy to donate to support their volunteer work.

Best up-close-and-personal experience with animals - This was one of the best experiences we had on our trip to Costa Rica. Really educational and a nonprofit with a great mission to support. Of all the tours we did this was the best one to see monkeys, sloths and birds up close and personal. They also have a full day experience that includes volunteering in addition to the tour. Would have chosen that but timing didn’t work.

Wonderful day with animals - The volunteer for a day activity was fantastic. Such friendly staff and cute animals. We made fruit toys for the animals and feed them. Truly a wonderful day.

Love and expand the soul - I was fascinated with the place and the animal awareness that they encourage, not only do they take care of their health in the best way but they are also aware that the rescued animals also have feelings and a lot of importance is given to their emotional state, such as not repeating the daily menu. These little animals are seen to be loved and cared for in a very professional way and with a lot of love. I found the experience incredible and without a doubt I leave here a better person, I congratulate and give my utmost respect to all the people who work here, they make this world a better place, thank you very much! ❤️

An incredible place dedicated to conservation - Visiting Kids Saving the Rainforest was an incredible experience. I loved the place, the dedication with which they work on rainforest conservation and wildlife rehabilitation. The warmth and friendliness of the staff made the visit even more special. I learned a lot about the importance of conservation and enjoyed every moment of the tour. Highly recommended for everyone who loves nature and wants to support a noble cause! Good chance to see and learn about rescued Costa Rican Animals and Birds - We were picked up from our Hotel by Jose, who was also our guide for the tour, for which there was only two of us.This was our plan B, incase we didn't find any sloths on our tours, but we definitely saw them here. The good work that the Center does, and its history was explained, and you're not permitted in the Nursery which would disturb any animals in there. Any Animals housed here, in cages, are either are awaiting to be well enough to be released back into the wild or too domesticated or injured to survive outside the reserve, or given the option to leave but didn't.Seized animals( as its illegal to own wild animals in Costa Rica) are often sent to this park to be cared for. There are Air BnB cabins on site and options to provide Veterinary support. If you want to take photos it can be challenging through the cages, but this avoids the handling of the animals.
