Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve - Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be picked up early in the morning and driven to Masai Mara, with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Another break will be taken in Narok town before checking in for lunch at the camp. After lunch, you’ll go on an evening game drive from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, offering a chance to see the Big Five and other wildlife.

Masai Mara Full Day

Masai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, you’ll set out for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes. This allows for more wildlife spotting, a visit to the border between Masai Mara National Reserve and Serengeti National Reserve, a picnic lunch in the bush, and witnessing the great wildebeest migration from July to September. After the game drive, you’ll return to the lodge to relax.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park - Following breakfast, you’ll check out of the lodge and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its birdlife and rhino sanctuary. The park is famous for its flamingos, endangered Rothschild giraffes, black and white rhinos, leopards, and more.

Upon arrival, you’ll have lunch at your lodge after check-in, followed by an afternoon game drive. Look out for large populations of flamingos along the shores of Lake Nakuru and various animals. You’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive to Samburu National Reserve for Evening Game Drive

Samburu National Reserve - After breakfast at your lodge, you’ll depart for Samburu National Reserve, heading north via Mount Kenya, the second-largest mountain in Africa. Arrive in time for lunch, then check in to your lodge. After freshening up, you’ll go on an afternoon game drive to explore Samburu’s wilderness, known for its unique wildlife adapted to desert-like conditions.

Look out for rare Grevy’s zebras, gerenuk antelopes standing on hind legs to feed, Somali ostriches with distinct blue legs, shy oryx, elephants, giraffes, crocodiles, lions, hippos, and more. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Samburu to Nairobi

Samburu National Reserve - After breakfast, you’ll check out of the lodge and go on one last game drive, the best time for viewing active animals. You’ll then exit the park and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy lunch en route, and upon arrival in the city, you’ll be dropped off at the airport for your international flight home.
