Masai Mara National Reserve - Begin your adventure with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or directly from the airport, followed by a transfer to our office for a briefing on the Kenya camping safari. Between 0800 hrs and 0830 hrs, meet fellow travelers and your Kenya Safari driver guide before setting off for Masai Mara. En route, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to admire the escarpment wall and at Narok town for an early lunch. Arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in the late afternoon for check-in, freshening up, and an introductory game drive. Search for wildlife in the Masai Mara game reserve until sunset, then return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your camp at 0745 hrs or earlier for a full day of game viewing in the reserve. The landscape here features scenic savannah grasslands on rolling hills. The reserve is Kenya’s premier park for game viewing, with a well-maintained road network that allows for close encounters with the animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, keeping an eye out for hippos and crocodiles. After the evening game drive, you have the option to visit a Masai Village for an additional fee. Dinner, bonfire, and overnight stay at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.
Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru
Lake Nakuru National Park - Start your day with an early morning visit to a Maasai village for an exclusive cultural experience. Learn about their lifestyle, interactions with neighboring communities, and enjoy their traditional dances. Later, drive to Nakuru town, arriving at City Max Hotel in the late afternoon. Spend the evening at your leisure, with the option to relax or explore the streets of Nakuru. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha - After breakfast at the Nakuru hotel, check out before 0800 hrs and head to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. Visit the Rhinoceros Sanctuary to see the endangered black and white rhinos, and explore the lake to spot pink flamingos. Although small in size, Lake Nakuru National Park is stunning and worth a visit. Drive to the baboon cliff for a thrilling view of the baboons. Between 1030 hrs and 1100 hrs, exit Lake Nakuru and drive to Naivasha, arriving in time for a hot lunch. Spend the afternoon and evening at your leisure, with the option to take a boat ride on the lake for an additional cost. Dinner and overnight stay at Taphe Guest Resort Naivasha.
Hell’s Gate National Park - Amboseli
Hell’s Gate National Park - Depart the hotel right after breakfast and drive to Hell’s Gate for registration. Choose to either cycle or drive through the park. Hell’s Gate National Park is one of the few places in Kenya where you can walk alongside wild animals, as there are no predators. Capture great photos with animals in the background as you descend into Hell’s Gate Gorge. Enjoy a guided nature walk with local guides to enhance your Kenya safari memories. Later, ascend to the gate exit and leave Naivasha, stopping for a hot lunch before driving to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at Nyati Safari Camp before sunset for check-in, relaxation, dinner, bonfire, and overnight stay.
Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park - Known for its large herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park offers an unforgettable experience. After breakfast, set out with packed picnic lunches for an extensive game drive across the park. Enjoy close encounters with wildlife and stop at the park’s viewpoint for breathtaking views. Have your picnic lunch at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro and visit the swampy area for more exciting game viewing as elephants graze and bathe. In the evening, exit the park and return to the campsite for optional activities, dinner, bonfire, and overnight stay.
Amboseli - Nairobi
Nairobi - Embark on an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park for one last chance to view wildlife and capture final safari photos. Enjoy the views of Mount Kilimanjaro before returning to the campsite for a full breakfast. Check out and leave Amboseli, driving to the Kenya-Tanzania Namanga border, or head to Emali for a bus to Mombasa or a return trip to Nairobi.
