Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - At 8:00 AM, the operator will pick up guests from their hotel to begin the journey to Maasai Mara, passing through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a stunning view of the valley floor. Arrival at the camp is scheduled for lunchtime. After checking in and enjoying lunch, guests will depart at 4:00 PM for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve, returning to the camp by 6:00 PM for a delicious buffet dinner and a restful evening.

Maasai Mara Full Day

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Breakfast is served at 6:30 AM, and at 7:00 AM, guests will embark on a full day of game viewing in the park. This day is dedicated to exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five, hippos, and Nile crocodiles. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the park under the shade of a croton tree, with views of the expansive landscape.

The Mara is renowned for hosting one of nature’s most spectacular events: the Great Migration. This annual migration sees millions of wildebeest and zebras move from the Serengeti in Tanzania in search of water and pasture, followed closely by savanna predators such as lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After an early breakfast, guests will check out and drive to Nakuru, with lunch en route. Arrival is expected at 5:00 PM, where guests will spend the night at the Buraha Zenoni Hotel and enjoy dinner there.

Nakuru to Namanga Border

Lake Nakuru - An early breakfast is followed by a 7:00 AM departure to the park. This small park is home to magnificent, rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five, and possibly pink flamingos. The game drive lasts three hours, after which guests will proceed to Namanga, the border town, to prepare for the Tanzanian leg of the journey.

Accommodation is provided at the Namanga River Hotel.

Namanga to Serengeti National Reserve

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, guests will leave for the Serengeti, arriving in time to start a game drive en route to the camp.

Additional game drives will take place in the afternoon until late evening.

The Serengeti is famous for the world’s largest animal movement, known as the “Great Migration.” Over 1.7 million wildebeest, 500,000 zebras, and 200,000 antelopes travel from the Ndutu region of the southern Serengeti northward through the “endless plains” to Kenya’s Masai Mara.

Dinner and relaxation will be at a campsite.

Serengeti National Park Full Day Game Drive

Serengeti National Park - Breakfast is at 6:30 AM, and at 7:00 AM, guests will set out for a full day of game viewing in the park. The day will be spent exploring Serengeti National Park in search of the Big Five, hippos, and Nile crocodiles. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the park under a croton tree, overlooking the vast landscape.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti National Park - An early morning game drive in the Serengeti will continue until 1:00 PM. After lunch, guests will depart, with a game drive en route to Ngorongoro, arriving at Simba Campsite for an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro, located in northern Tanzania, is home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the “Big Five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Large herds of wildebeests and zebras cross its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals. Hominin fossils found in the Olduvai Gorge date back millions of years.

Dinner and relaxation will be at the Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, guests will enjoy a game drive and then leave for Ngorongoro for a safari game drive with a picnic lunch. Departure is after 1:00 PM, with a drive to Arusha, arriving in the evening for drop-off at a hotel or residence.
