Lake Kawaguchiko - Lake Kawaguchiko is a stunning lake and serves as the gateway to the Fuji Five Lakes area. Visitors can enjoy a ship cruise or take a ropeway cable car to Kachi Kachi Mountain. On clear days, there is a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. Separate fees apply for the ship cruise and ropeway cable car.
Chureito Pagoda - Constructed in 1963 as a peace memorial, Chureito Pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine. Situated 400 steps above the shrine, this five-story red pagoda is a must-visit. On clear days, it offers a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji. The climb involves 400 steps.
Oishi Park - Experience over 90 different flowers throughout the four seasons. The park is renowned for its lavender.
Owakudani Kurotamago Kan - Owakudani is a popular destination in Hakone, known for its steaming thermal volcanic vents. The unique black eggs, boiled in sulfurous waters, are believed to add seven years to one’s life. On clear days, there is a great view of Mt. Fuji.
Lake Ashinoko - Lake Ashi is beautiful, and the Hakone Shrine is famous for its large red torii gate along the shore, known as the “Gate of Peace” (Heiwa no Torii). The gate was erected in 1952 to commemorate the crown prince’s reign and Japan’s independence. Visitors can enjoy a pirate ship or ropeway cable car, with separate entry fees.
Hakone Shrine / Kuzuryu Shrine Singu - Hakone Shrine (箱根神社, Hakone Jinja) is located at the base of Mount Hakone along Lake Ashi’s shores. The shrine is hidden in a dense forest but marked by large torii gates, one prominently in the lake and two others on Moto-Hakone’s main street. A path leads from the lake’s torii gate up steps flanked by lanterns to the shrine’s main building, nestled among tall trees. The shrine is beautiful year-round, especially when misty. A second shrine, Mototsumiya, is at Komagatake’s summit, accessible by the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway or hiking trails.
Oshino Hakkai - This location offers stunning natural beauty, with a variety of cherry blossoms and flowers. From the top, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji.
Ensoleille Excursion Ship Pleasure Boat Kawaguchiko - Enjoy two experiences: a ship cruise and the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway cable car to Kachi Kachi Mountain. The cruise on Lake Kawaguchiko lasts 20 minutes and offers a close view of Mt. Fuji on clear days. Additional fees apply for the cruise. The ropeway provides a close view of Mt. Fuji, weather permitting.
Hakone Ropeway - The observation platform offers stunning views of Owakudani, Hakone’s most famous tourist spot. The desolate mountainside, covered in smoke plumes, reflects the area’s former name, Hell Valley. The Hakone Ropeway rises above Owakudani, offering many scenic views. Traveling from Sounzan to Owakudani, passengers can see the valley below, and on the way to Togendai, they can enjoy views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi.

The Views Were Amazing! - It was a very good day trip to Hakone and Mt. Fuji, having a private van and driver/guide was a welcome change to 10 days of DIY travel. The views were Amazing! The memories we gained in this trip will be forever with us... the kids were especially ecstatic about seeing the top of Mt. Fuji and riding the Ropeway, as well as pedaling a water swan on Lake Kawaguchi. My wife and I were speechless with the views we used to only see in pictures-- Hakone Shrine was Amazing! Our driver Farruk was very nice, he knew the roads well and we are very thankful because even when we thought we didn't have time for Oishi Park, he made sure we were able to get there in time for sunset pics. Overall, the times we were in the places we wanted to be were Perfect! Very short lines and not too many people. Would definitely recommend this private trip to groups and families.

We saw a lot on our short trip in Hakone area. - We had a nice time on this tour. We saw a lot and our guide, Saad, was very kind and helpful. My favorite part was the speed boat on Lake Kawaguchiko. It was beautiful with the leaves changing in the fall.

The best way to visit Mt Fuji! Will be booking again next time :) - I am so glad I booked this trip! Our driver Usman arrived 30 minutes early to our AirBnB and he gave us time to get snacks for the drive. Before we left, he asked what sites we wanted to see at Mt Fuji/Hakone and we hit all of them! I chose this tour because of the private car. But what really made my group happy was the customization of the trip. Usman also let us connect to the sound system to play our own music, he booked a lunch reservation for us, and he gave us additional time at the end to get more photos. Overall, a 10/10 experience and if I could give this more stars I would!

Great day - We all had a great day with Sarfy. We saw the sights we wanted to see. Managed to get some great photos of Mt Fuji, drove up and down the musical road (which was a great surprise) and went to a lovely shrine which was very peaceful. The car was clean and Serfi was a good driver. Thankyou for a great day.

Too much to see with too little time - I don’t know how people try to do Mt Fuji and Hakone on the same day, given how far they are from Tokyo and from each other, and give these sites their proper justice - I appreciate the private car transfer to both places via the same tour provider (done over two separate days). What I will say is that this is more like a private car transfer, some basic info about where we are going, and having someone take you to all the spots and take pictures for you, rather than a traditional “tour” I’m used to whereby the tour guide is knowledgeable, fluent in English and you can carry on a conversation for the full day. I think the English could be better but once I aligned myself on expectations (ie not a real tour guide), then I’m fine - there was a misalignment on what I thought it was vs what it really was. Still, I appreciate not having to think or research on where I’m going, for example, the cruise transfer in Hakone to the cable car, and the car would pick me up from the other side. I would be taken to the exact spot to buy my tickets and being told of where to get off - I value efficiency when I travel (ie not a lot of time to research) and this is something worth it for me to be able to go to all the must see places with minimal prep on my end. Overall, I would recommend this to maximize how much you can do in Hakone and Mt Fuji and being able to control your schedule (eg I wanted to go back to Oishi Park in the afternoon when the clouds cleared up and we had a better view of Mt Fuji, although we already stopped there in the morning. You just can’t do that when you are with a big group and going to these places you can’t control the weather so you need the most flexibility, if doing a private group is within your budget). I also appreciate the tour provider to correct an issue for me that was properly addressed - I appreciate the responsiveness and effort to provide good customer service.

Not so much a tour than a private driver - Started 30 minutes late, driver was at a different address, and there was no English speaking host accompanying us. Effectively we had a private driver for the day. Not all bad though, as the driver took us to everywhere we wanted to go and we saw quite a lot. Overall pretty happy

This Tour Missed the Mark - The tour guide was late picking us up from the hotel which started this tour off wrong. Next each driver took a different route to our destination which separated our group. There was little to no information shared about the places we visited. This is more like a transfer service which is similar to Uber. This tour is advertised as all of the stops in this tour is impossible to complete in the time allocated. As a result, we have to choose which sights we wanted to see. Please adjust this in the title to accurately advertise this tour correctly. Mt Fuji is beautiful and the site from the boat is breathtaking.
