- Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai, or the Eight Seas of Oshino, are a set of eight ponds located in the Fuji Five Lakes area, on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several centuries ago. The eight ponds are fed by snowmelt from the slopes of Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of volcanic rock over a period of several decades. This makes the mineral-rich pond waters remarkably clear and pristine.

- Lake Ashinoko - You can see Beautiful Lake Ashi & The HAKONE shrine is now well known for the large red torii gate located along the shore of Lake Ashi. This shrine gate is known as the “Gate of Peace” (heiwa no torii). The Torii Gate on the lake was erected in 1952 to commemorate the crown prince’s reign and Japan’s independence (conclusion of the peace treaty). You can do pirates ship or ropeway cable car but the entry fees you have to pay separately.

Book This Excursion! You will love it! - Our day tour to Mt. Fuji with Abdul was simply fantastic. We embarked on an unforgettable day trip from Tokyo and found ourselves in excellent hands with Abdul as our guide. Throughout the journey, he demonstrated kindness, courtesy, and an impressive knowledge of Japan and its various attractions. Abdul's enthusiasm for ensuring our experience was of amazing, and it truly made all the difference.
Accompanied by my husband and our 24-year-old daughter, we reminisce fondly about the wonderful memories created during this excursion. From exploring the majestic Mt. Fuji to immersing ourselves in the charm of a small historical village, every moment was truly captivating. Our lunch in a quaint town, followed by a railcar ride offering breathtaking views from atop a mountain, sealed a perfect day.
Above all, what stood out was the sense of safety and care provided by Abdul and the company. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction exceeded our expectations. I wholeheartedly rate Abdul and the entire company a perfect 10! Without hesitation, I highly recommend this tour company, especially with Abdul as your guide!

Mt Fuji Tour with Mr. Jamil - It was an amazing experience. We really enjoyed it. The Tour Guide Mr. Jamil was very kind and helpful. He explained to us every detail about the journey. He answered all our questions. He is very knowledgeable. He showed us very beautiful places. He knows a lot about the history of the places we visited. It was not just a sightseeing tour, but a historical one. During Lunch the food was very delicious. It was really an unforguetable journey. Thank you very much Mr. Jamil for the lovely time and journey.

Mt Fuji in March 2024 - the tour guide was very friendly and punctual throughout the trip and ensured we covered all the itinerary smoothly and on time. private transport made this trip very convenient. important to note that the experience of this tour is highly dependent on the weather conditions - if it is too cloudy or raining, mt fuji will not be visible from the spots you will be visiting as part of this itinerary. Regardless, our tour guide put in all the efforts, going above and beyond to make the experience as enjoyable as possible for us. As the itinerary is already quite packed with the spots around mt muji, going to hakone during the same day trip would be even more rushed so it was not covered.

Terrible experience - Driver was almost 40 minutes late. I wasn’t able to get hold of anyone to know why no one was there to pick us up. Driver showed up in older beat up van with significant damage and stained dirty interior. Driver also seemed to have trouble navigating to find his way. We received no “guiding” from driver. He simply dropped us off at 3 different locations with no explanation of what anything was. We also did not get to see the Hakone area described on trip advertisement.

Driver did not show up - We booked our tour for a Friday at 8:30am. We waited outside our hotel at 8:20am and when it was 8:30am and no one arrived, we tried to contact the tour company. We called and emailed for nearly an hour, all while waiting around the hotel lobby debating if we should continue to wait, what we should do next, etc. It was very stressful and annoying to deal with this while on vacation.
The website said they open at 8am but nobody answered the phone until nearly 9:30am. When they finally answered, they called our driver, and called us back and said our driver got into an car accident (so suspicious - our driver got into an accident while on the job, and almost an hour passed but he never contacted his boss to inform them of what happened?? This sounds like a complete lie).
He said we could rebook for the next day, or wait until noon to be picked up, or get a refund. Although extremely inconvenient, we rebooked for the next day because it was the best of the 3 options. I requested a discount for this huge inconvenience and unprofessionalism - one person in our group was unable to go the next day, which was a big disappointment for us. We thought it to be very fair to request some kind of compensation for this inconvenience. He said no, but when I insisted, he said he would ask management. He never got back to me. I emailed to follow up on getting a partial refund, and they ignored my email and did not reply.
If you read other reviews, similar incidents have happened before and this company has used similar excuses. Someone else said their driver was 1-1.5 hours late due to weather, another reviewer had to reschedule their tour to another day due to car mechanical issues. Read through the negative reviews of this tour/company - they ALWAYS have an excuse for when something goes wrong. You will see their unprofessionalism in their replies to negative reviews.
The car itself was clean and very spacious, and the driver was nice. As others stated, it is not a typical tour where they explain the points of interest. This is a car service to drive you to the places and that's it. He only took us to 4 of the 5 places listed on the tour.
We would not book with this company again and I would suggest booking a more expensive but reliable tour company. Nobody wants to deal with this kind of inconvenience and stress while on vacation, so spend a little more to ensure you don't end up in the same situation we were in.
