- Mt. Fuji 5th Station - The Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station (富士スバルライン五合目, Fuji Subaru Line Gogōme, also known as Yoshidaguchi 5th Station or Kawaguchiko 5th Station) is situated roughly halfway along the Yoshida Trail, which extends from the Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine at the mountain’s base to the peak of Mount Fuji.
This station is the most frequented among the four 5th stations on Mount Fuji, offering the best development and easiest access via public transport from Tokyo. The Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station is accessible nearly all year, weather permitting, and remains a popular tourist destination even outside the climbing season.
- Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai consists of eight springs located in Oshino, Yamanashi, Japan. These springs are formed by aquifer water from Mount Fuji surfacing. They are recognized as a Natural Monument of Japan, part of the Mount Fuji World Heritage Site, and are a significant tourist attraction in Yamanashi Prefecture.
- Oishi Park - Oishi Park provides stunning panoramic views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, making it a favored spot for photography, especially with the blooming lavender that turns the landscape purple.
- Chureito Pagoda - Chureito Pagoda offers unparalleled views of the iconic Mt. Fuji, featuring beautiful and unique traditional architecture. Its remarkable location, surrounded by cherry blossoms and trees in the Fuji Five Lakes area, makes it a must-visit.
- Lake Kawaguchiko - The northern shores of Lake Kawaguchiko offer the best views of Mount Fuji, which are especially breathtaking during the cherry blossom season in mid-April and the autumn colors in early November. A lovely spot for cherry blossoms is the lakeside promenade near the Kawaguchiko Music Forest.
- Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine - Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine is one of about 1,300 Asama shrines in Japan, dedicated to the deity of volcanoes, particularly Mount Fuji. The shrine is part of the Mt. Fuji UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, designated in 2013.
Asama shrines honor Konohanasakuya-hime (“cherry blossom princess”), the goddess of Mt. Fuji and all volcanoes in Japanese mythology. Most Asama shrines are within view of Mt. Fuji; where this is not possible due to distance or obstructions, miniature replicas of Mt. Fuji made from mountain rocks are placed within the shrine grounds.
