The 5th station is closed... - The 5th station is closed in January. Queues at the ropeway/gondola are deceptively long, the hike down was lovely but steep. It took much less than the 40 mins suggested.

My Fuji Day Trip - An awesome day. Ali was a great host and an excellent photographer. Would highly recommend this tour. It was a great day trip out of Tokyo!

Must see experience! - The views were amazing! Great spots for photo opportunities and our guide, Ali, was awesome at taking photos. Private guided tour is definitely the way to go.
Also the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life!

Relaxing and spectacular - Relaxing and spectacular. Our family of 2 adults and children aged 14, 12 and 7 really enjoyed it. Well worth the money for a family of 5.

Amazing Mt Fuji tour! - Ali was an amazing host: he was very knowledgeable and gave us excellent explanations at every stop. He was incredibly polite and helpful. I would recommend a Mt Fuji tour with Ali without any hesitation.

Had a great day with Ali! Beautiful day too. - We had 2 families of 4 in one bus, there was plenty of room and very comfortable. Ali was very patient and showed us great spots. Ali was also very knowledgeable about the attractions on this trip, and heaps more about Japan as well.

Wonderful. - Amazing trip. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Driver/Guide was excellent. We were taking the visit at our best. Recommend to anyone coming to Japan.

Disappointing - We booked this trip based on the excellent reviews and unfortunately we didn’t receive the same experience as the other reviews. We had a different driver than the ones mentioned so perhaps request a certain driver if you can. We requested an English speaking driver and he didn’t speak English. He even apologized for his lack of English which made communicating very difficult. We didn’t have a guide, we had a driver. We were driven to some places listed in the itinerary suggested however when we arrived we weren’t told anything about the place we were visiting and had to google it when we got there to understand why is was a tourist place to visit. We had to figure out where to buy tickets from, where to get lunch from, where to visit throughout the tourist attractions so we felt very lost and unsure of what we were doing. There definitely wasn’t any recommendations as previous Travellers had experienced. Overall it was a disappointing tour and a waste of money for us. I had cancelled another tour to do this one because of the great reviews and because I thought we were getting a private guided tour but that wasn’t the case. I contacted the company when we got home to express my disappointment however I didn’t hear back so I assume they aren’t too bothered about receiving this type of feedback.

Disappointed - Confirmed with the tour operator the day before on the place and scheduled pickup time. Tour operator never showed up. Call and spoke to Ali. Who assured that he’s reaching out to his driver and will call back in 5 minutes. After 30 minutes. None called back and Ali was non -responsive and no longer answering call. Reached out to Viator and requested refund. They were not able to assist with a new booking. The planned activity for Mount Fuji was ruined. Never again will book with TripAdvisor ( not reliable). This will the last time booking with TripAdvisor/Viator.
