One of the best tours ever! - This was an amazing tour and should not be missed. Our guide Takasi was knowledgeable, warm, and professional. His knowledge of the forest was expansive. The caves were an extraordinary site. If you are visiting the Mt. Fuji area and love the outdoors, this is not to be missed.

Unique look at nature and history with a great guide - Our tour guide Tada was really knowledgeable and lead us through an exciting foray into the beautifully enchanting forest of Aokigahara and it's ice cave. A bit of spelunking was required, but our small group was able to complete it well. It is a very unique experience, and we were glad to have Tada there explaining to us in English all the little interesting anecdotes about nature and history. We recommend highly.

Watch your head :P - This was one of the coolest experiences on our trip. I have only been down in a cave once before and they had handrails and steps, so it wasn't really climbing around. This was super cool, and had it not been for the melting ice (not their fault) it would have been amazing. I am so glad I didn't hurt myself in there, but even though it is called the wind cave, it was more of an ice cave. We ended up having a private experience though because the other group didn't show up, so the guide was able to help me maneuver carefully through the ice. Our tour guide Tada is a local and gave us a lot of history on the area and even some recommendations for amazing food!

Fantastic experience! - Toshio was an awesome guide! He picked us up from our hotel. He was very knowledgeable about the surrounding forest and the animals in it. He made sure we were safe climbing down in the cave. The cave was super cool to see and the surrounding forest was so beautiful and serene. My husband and I had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Highlight of our Japan trip so far! - We had an amazing tour! Our guide was friendly, fun and very knowledgeable, spoke both English to us and Japanese to the other group on the tour, and we didn’t feel like we missed any information. The walk through the forest on the way to the caves was a highlight but of course the caves were the best part! The caves weren’t too complex to navigate and the guide gave us clear directions. We felt safe with our guide and would definitely do it again if we return to the Mt Fuji area.
