Excellent civil war informational tour. - This was a very informational day, with so much to see and learn. Beautiful properties with so much history ... history that is beyond difficult to comprehend in our current day. Thank you for all of the hard work on preserving and sharing these facts of our past.

Carter House Tour - The Carter House Tour was both amazing and sobering. To think that those people who sheltered in the basement of the Carter House, right in the middle of the battle, survived was almost unbelievable.

Very Memorable - This was a very convenient tour out of Nashville. The bus was comfortable and driver very courteous and knowledgeable. The rides both to and back from Franklin were enjoyable. The three included Franklin tours were very educational - I liked that they were all related to the specific battle of Franklin as there was a lot of information to absorb. Time for lunch was just right. Each of the guides for the three tours were great as well. Both my wife and I had a great time. The experience left me with a very solemn sense of the grace of God upon our nation during such a terrible time of our history. For those driving to Nashville, I suggest reserving parking in advance to save money. I was able to use parking.com to book a 12 hour parking for $21, which was half the cost of driving in and paying. This left enough time to get dinner in Nashville before driving home.

Great Tour - If you’re interested in Civil War history, this is the tour for you. At each of the 3 historical stops we were guided through the property by excellent historians. The gentleman at Carnton was very knowledgeable and started things off. Then Randy at the Carter home, with his enthusiasm and knowledge, made history come alive. Thomas, at the Lotz home, shared his love of history by filling us in on the Lotz family, plus many other interesting details. Julie , our Grayline driver and narrator was great. She was enthusiastic and is very warm and personable. A wonderful day!
