What a great way to see Nashville! The guided tour, through all the wonderful highlights of the city--definitely worth doing!

We had an early morning bike ride with Tom, he was awesome! So knowledgeable and funny. He safely got us all over downtown and back. It was wonderful to do the tour on our first morning of the trip, I was then able to share with our friends so many facts about your beautiful city because of him. Thanks Tom

It was a great tour and the guide was very friendly and informative. Unfortunately my wife had a few issues with the bike but we still enjoyed the tour

It would be helpful and more pleasant if your audio sets worked better. You could only hear if you were super close to the guide. We had a big group so it was hard to be close all the time.

+ Eric was very knowledgeable about Nashville/TN history and sites, I loved the civic pride he exemplified
+ He gave clear directions on upcoming turns, and I felt safe at all times even in traffic
+ Wearing a one-ear headset to hear the guide was highly effective and enabled me to also hear traffic/stay alert
- Eric's co-worker did not charge his e-bike after the previous tour, so his bike's battery died making it very slow and difficult to return to our starting point
- Joyride standard instructions state to arrive 30 min. prior to your appointment. Don't bother...I arrived at 7:45am for my 8:15am appointment and was locked out of the building; no one arrived until Eric showed up at 8:15am. This started my tour out on a very sour note given I woke up 30 minutes early, only to sit outside waiting.

The entire experience was a disaster!!! Scheduled for a 10:30 e-bike tour for 6. We were in Nashville celebrating our 60th birthdays. Tom texted us the evening before and asked us to arrive early for paper work, helmet fitting, etc. We arrived at 10 am and placed Tom’s name placard on our table as we were advised. Tom did not arrive until AFTER 10:30. He was very unfriendly from the start; trying to discourage us from doing the bike tour as 2 of our party were new to e-bikes. 4 of us had experience with e-bikes, are frequent bike riders and have done rentals in multiple places and never been treated so poorly. It took 45 minutes for him to get the bikes, helmets, and ear pieces gathered and even then some of the helmets did not buckle correctly. Those of us with e-bike experience had to orient the 2 in our party that didn’t have experience on how to use the bikes as Tom was too busy trying to find bikes and equipment for us. He never went over the bikes with us; just told us to set the throttle to 5 and that we needed to go 20mph to keep up. There is a hill in front of the building and when we finally got started (over 45 minutes late) one of the members of our party tipped on her bike and fell. We got her back up as Tom had already taken off. When she got back on her bike the chain was off. Tom never checked to see that she was ok and was muttering under his breath about having to get a different bike. We decided we did not feel proceeding with Tom on the bike tour was safe. He didn’t appear to care about us having a fun day riding bike or our safety. We opted to do a cart tour instead, however, we still had Tom as our guide. He was rude and again we did not feel safe. He was yelling at drivers and at one point got out of the cart to confront a driver. At the last stop he told us we could stay and do some shopping and the walk back to our starting point was 10 blocks away. That was a total lie. It was a 45 minute walk back to the start. It was a miserable experience!!!!! The fact that Joyride took our money for this horrible tour is very disappointing.

Our experience was extremely disappointing. We arrived 40 minutes ahead of departure time to ensure that we were all set and fitted with bikes, helmets, and the safety talk prior to our 10:30am departure time. Our tour guide, Tom, arrived at approximately 10:25 and there was nothing set-up for our party of 6. Tom handled the situation very poorly. He was surly, blamed the lack of prep on Joyride, which may have been the case, but he took no accountability and was belligerent rather than apologetic. He strongly discouraged us from the e-bike tour because not everyone in our group had done it before. He spent the next 45 to 50 minutes gathering the equipment, with helmets and earphones missing pieces requiring him to make several trips to other side of building where equipment was stored to get additional parts. Rather than being encouraging to those who had never ridden e-bikes before, he didn’t show them what to do with a quick demo and test drive in the parking lot. The experienced riders in our group assisted by showing those new to e-bikes what to do and had them practice while Tom was going back and forth getting the equipment. By the time we were finally ready to take off everyone was on edge and Tom took off quickly making one of the inexperienced riders very nervous and she fell off the bike. Rather than checking on her to see if she was ok (she was bleeding) he was upset that her chain fell off and he’d have to get another bike. We decided that none of us were comfortable with this man leading us on a bike tour so opted for the golf cart tour. The two people in the back of the cart couldn’t hear Tom with the muffled microphone and the loud sound of the motor which seemed to irritate Tom because he didn’t think we were listening to his spiel. Tom didn’t try to build any rapport with our group and became upset with drivers on the road, yelling at them along the way. In fact, he almost got in a fight with a driver at a stop in front of the Rainbow Room. He also took a very strange personal call during the tour which we heard over the speaker about surveillance video, the FBI, and not to call him at this number again. Although JoyRide did credit us 50% of the fee for the problems at the front end of the tour, we feel a 100% credit is in order. It was the start of our trip in Nashville and really put a damper on our day! It seems the tour guides are contracted by Joyride and Joyride needs to be on top of who they are hiring. We discovered a review of Tom the Tour guide from July where the customers seemed to have a very similar experience we had with Tom. Tom’s behavior seems to be a pattern rather than an off day.
