  • Tennessee State Museum - You’ll see the State History Museum on the way to additional food stops and a fascinating tour of Germantown, Nashville’s first “suburb” and home to delicious foods and historic sites along with victorian architecture and brick sidewalks. The perfect place to stroll between food stops!
  • Nashville - Along the way, experience a total of five food and drink tastings, making up plenty of food for lunch for most participants. You’ll taste local meats, baked goods and confections, and share a frosty cocktail and guided tasting at a hyper-local distillery.
  • Far Better Distillery - Our family-owned distillery is the perfect place to cool off at the end of your tour with an included cocktail and a bright, airy place to rest after a little over a mile of total walking on the tour. Great and informative tour! - Our wonderful walking tour guide, Scott, shared colorful backstories about Nashville's history, food and music culture. As we strolled through the Germantown area that included the capitol, we sampled delicious food like authentic hot chicken, delicious tacos, tasty cookies, and the absolute best salted caramel truffles I've ever eaten! (Other delicious truffle options were available) Our quick stops at local eateries were well planned out to highlight the rich and diverse local culture of the area. The tour ended at Far Better Distillery where we were treated to a whiskey tasting and education on how small batch whiskey is produced. Scott was a great ambassador for Music City!

Germantown food tour - The food tastings part of the tour was very nice. But I must say that the history of Germantown and Bicentennial Park We’re just great. Our tour, Director, Scott, was so incredibly knowledgeable about not only the food and the area that we were going through but also the music scene and the artist associated with Nashville. He had a great sense of humor and kept us very involved during the entire trip. It’s definitely something that I would recommend that other people do and I would also recommend that they ask if Scott could be their tour guide.

Great tour! - Austin was amazing. He gave us so much information about the area. Even if you know your way around, take the actual tour and hear about the great history of this area.

Good food with best cultural tour - We’ve done two walking food tours in Nashville. This one was by far the best. Kristie was so insightful and took us to the best local hidden gems - from “hot chicken” to chocolate truffles to the smallest distillery in Tennessee - and all the history of Germantown in between. Highly recommend this tour.

So glad we chose this tour! - My 23 year old daughter and I took this tour, and I was a little nervous about the history parts getting too boring for my college-aged child. However, Kristi really brought all the stories to life with such energy, my daughter talked about the tour as one of her favorite parts of visiting Nashville! The stories were great, the food was great, we both really didn't want the tour to end.
