All songs will be acoustic, featuring either guitar or piano. You can choose to sing and/or play on the recording, or leave that to me and focus on songwriting. In the end, everyone will receive an mp3 recording of the song!

Sessions at the home studio in West Nashville will last 1-3 hours. During this time, a poem will be written, a melody found, and a quick acoustic demo recorded for you to take home as an mp3! Everyone is welcome. Come and experience the studio!

Best experience on Viator - BEST VIATOR EXPERIENCE! Don’t miss this one! I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Within an hour, Lauren showed us how to write a poem about our lives and turn it into a song. She is so musically talented and fun and friendly! This was one of my favorite afternoons ever, I can’t say enough about it. “Vodka for the ladies and bourbon for the men” will forever be on my playlist… all my friends back home are so jealous. BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE!

Don’t miss this one!! - Hands down, BEST VIATOR EXPERIENCE I’ve ever done. Wish I could give it 10 stars. We went there with friends and within an hour we’d written a poem about our lives together. Lauren, very quickly and professionally, added music and her incredible voice and turned our poem into a song. It was like magic y’all! Throughout, she was so warm and friendly, encouraging us non musical people and turning us into pretty decent backup singers. I can’t say enough about it, just book this experience. This was one of the best afternoons of my life. BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE! And find Lauren Anderson music on Instagram. She is a real deal talent.

Super songwriting birthday gift a huge success - This was a surprise 60th birthday gift for my hubby. I was a little unsure when I booked it, but when he returned he was on Cloud 9! Lauren was phenomenal. Creative, down to earth, clever. To be honest, I wasn’t certain he could come up with a song but it was actually quite catchy and good! I think it was played for every Uber driver/ hotel staff/ random stranger that he came across lol . Such a fun experience and totally worth it. Thank you so much, Lauren, you (and your back-up singer pup haha)made his birthday adventures extra special !! I really appreciate it!!

Amazing Experience - We LOVED our songwriting experience! Lauren Anderson is very knowledgeable and talented. She helped my 16 year old finish a song she’s been working on. Highly recommend!

Yes I will be back hopefully the pool will be open when I return so I can enjoy that also thank you for my wonderful day - Some of the cleanest rules I've ever had for a hotel. The breakfast was fantasthey even had cinnamon buns. All the staff was very polite and helpful.

I'm so happy with the session - Lauren is a very gifted songwriter and a joy to work with. I had brought a poem of mine I was hoping to set to music. We wrote it into a song I absolutely love. She's creative, generous ...I would 10000x recommend her to anyone who wants to create a song but isn't sure how to get from paper to performance.

Unique and educational experience - Lauren was accommodating, flexible and punctual. Very talented and great with all ages. She taught our girls 7, 8 and 10 how to write lyrics and record a song. She kept the session moving when they weren't communicating well and incorporated all feedback when they had ideas. We will definitely visit again. The girls are so proud of their song. Would be fun for an adult too!
