Stop by and see the instruments used on hundreds of iconic songs, such as Joe Osborn’s Fender jazz bass used in hit songs by The Carpenters, Mamas and the Papas, The Grass Roots, and Simon and Garfunkel. Other notable exhibits include the control board from Jack’s Tracks Recording Studio where Garth Brooks recorded most of his hits, as well as the original stage where Jimi Hendrix once performed.

The GRAMMY Museum Gallery®

With the privacy of headphones, visitors can play electric drums, keyboard, bass, and guitar, or sing along with Ray Charles and the Raelettes, the all-girl group who provided backing vocals for the legendary musician. So glad we chose this Museum - One of the great days out, and one of the best museums I’ve visited. Covering all genre of musical styles, eras and performers, this is a great overview of our musical history. The museum is set out really well with an easy flow throughout. The memorabilia is just incredible. We chose this museum above the man6 others in town because of its simple diversity of musical styles. Loved it..

Go here! - The museum was great. The video before going into the museum got you in the mood to see all the wonderful and informative exhibits. So much information I don’t know about the evolution of music. It’s definitely a place to go during your visit in Nashville.

Popular musician memorabilia - I really enjoyed the variety of music styles represented from rock to country and pop. Something for everyone to enjoy no matter your music taste. My son enjoyed the music lessons with Ringo Starr.

2 Thumbs up!!!! - We absolutely loved the entire experience from the moment we opened the front door. We were greeted with energy and enthusiasm! We have a 15 year old and a 12 year old and they were entertained for hours! I won’t lie I was too! They have an interactive section where you can play instruments and record music! I highly recommend this for a family with older kids.

It was an ok experience - Everything was great except for the lady in the ticket counter. She was rude and didn't know how to check for my tickets until my husband (Caucasian) stepped in. Shee needs more training and needs to be more polite when getting tickets from customers. She only recognized my ticket reservation and booking from Viator when my husband stepped in. I showed here my confirmation on my phone but was dismissive until my husband showed the same thing did she acknowledge the booking, which was extremely rude.
