- Queen’s Staircase - The Queen’s Staircase, often referred to as the 66 Steps, is a significant landmark within the Fort Fincastle Historical Complex in Nassau. Carved out of solid limestone by slaves between 1793 and 1794, it is believed to have provided a direct route from Fort Fincastle to Nassau. The steps were later named in honor of Queen Victoria, who ruled Britain for 64 years, from 1837 to 1901.

The Vendue House functioned as a market until the late 19th century, where enslaved Africans and other goods were sold during the 18th and 19th centuries. The building was converted into a museum in 1992.
