Fort Charlotte was interesting too. The tour ended with a tasty treat of a few local favorites at the Fish Fry.

Don’t miss out! - It was so much more than we anticipated! Leon was our tour guide and he was fantastic! Using the jeep made us feel like it was a more immersive experience into the culture along with Leon’s knowledge and hospitality. It was also a great price for a 3.5 hour tour with a personal tour guide. All the food and drinks were great! You will get great pics with your group too. We had people in our group from age 4 to late 60s and they all loved it! We are so glad we chose this excursion.

Just book it! - Went on a cruise for my birthday and was my first time! The cruise had lots of excursions available, however after reading all the reviews and the better price option I booked through trip advisor. THIS MADE MY BIRTHDAY SO SPECIAL!! From the time Leon picked us up until the time he dropped us off I had the best time! The island is so beautiful and it was so great seeing and hearing the history through Leon. He was so much fun and very entertaining. And very knowledgeable. He told us about the history of the island and even educated us on the fruit trees! I loved every minute of this tour. Thank you Leon for taking great care of us! If you’re thinking about taking this tour, just book it!

Family tour - Leon is a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and fun. He took us to the experiences and cultural highlights based on our family needs eg we had 2 younger children so he started us off at the chocolate factory, then wine tasting, tea tasting, the beautiful Queens Staircase, rum tasting, a very cool distillery, the amazing Junkanoo experience where we got to try the drums and then to eat appetizers at the Fish Fry area. So fun! 3-4 hours total.

Insightful, colorful, fun, and in need of a repeat!! - We made it to all the stops as listed on our reservation! From Tasty Teas all the way to Arawak Cay, every individual we met on the way was extremely pleasant and cordial, all the samples we had were flavorful and rich, and all the information we had the honor of listening to was in-depth and eye-opening. We learnt so much about the island in 3.5 hours and I would definitely do this again next time I’m in Nassau! Lastly, what took our adventure a notch higher was our amazing tour guide - Rocky! Pleasant, funny, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all the sights to see in Nassau! My family and I had a 1001 questions about the island and he answered all of them gladly!

Amazing tour! - My favorite part of the tour was learning about Junkanoo and getting to beat the drum. Despite the heavy rain fall, this is a very fun and informational excursion.

Not what we expected - The gentleman who drove our funky jeep was nice enough, but the tour was not what we were expecting. Each stop was basically a place where we were expected to buy something or donate money. The Queens Staircase was nice but then we were targeted by a local who had great knowledge but elicited a tip afterwards. Our driver pointed us out group out to him. There were other locations pointed out to us as we were driving by, that would have been more interesting to stop at vs dropping in at places like the local rum cake store or tasty teas. The last stop was at a fish fry. I thought we would be walking around but we were actually brought into a shop to eat fish. No one in our group eats fish, which the driver was told on our way there, so it wound up being a totally awkward experience. Did not do enough research in advance to understand what we were getting ourselves into for the amount of money the tour cost.

Huge Disappointment - Do not pay for this! It specifically says in their ad- “ four of the city's historic forts”. We saw only one. When we questioned our guide he said it cost $5, so no we weren’t going. We specifically chose this tour because of the forts. The tour was for 3.5 hours. We were finished in 2.5 hours. Would not do this again. So disappointing. We felt so rushed. No, we didn’t stop anywhere to shop, and at our lunch we didn’t even have time to wash our hands. The distillery and Junkanoo experience were fabulous. But, I think we could have arranged those for less. So disappointing!
