Insightful, colorful, fun, and in need of a repeat!! - We made it to all the stops as listed on our reservation! From Tasty Teas all the way to Arawak Cay, every individual we met on the way was extremely pleasant and cordial, all the samples we had were flavorful and rich, and all the information we had the honor of listening to was in-depth and eye-opening. We learnt so much about the island in 3.5 hours and I would definitely do this again next time I’m in Nassau! Lastly, what took our adventure a notch higher was our amazing tour guide - Rocky! Pleasant, funny, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all the sights to see in Nassau! My family and I had a 1001 questions about the island and he answered all of them gladly!

Amazing tour! - My favorite part of the tour was learning about Junkanoo and getting to beat the drum. Despite the heavy rain fall, this is a very fun and informational excursion.

Rain delay-- No problem! - Rocky was amazing! We had a little rain delay and he found something fun and interesting to do while we waited for the rain to quit. Every stop was great and just the right amount of time! It was nice to be able to see things off the beaten path, hear some history of the area and spend a little money to support some local shops. Loved trying all the foods and drinks!

Rocky to the rescue! Excellent tour guide! - This excursion was one of the best ones I have ever had in Nassau, but what made it the best was our tour guide/driver, Rocky. He was terrific, very down-to-earth, professional, and had a wealth of excellent knowledge about the island! He gave us some great insights about the island, its history, and its beautiful people. He also served us some of the native treats of the island, which was delicious. Overall, this was an excellent tour for my family and me, and we recommend him to others as he went above and beyond to help us even to help my husband with ankle/leg pain issues, and overall provided a great tour.

A new way to experience Nassau. - Nassau was our final stop on an 8 day cruise. We were wanting something other than hanging out at the beach. This was the answer! The tour was amazing! Our driver, Rocky, was great! We were 20 minutes late for our tour, and he sat and waited on us! (We were still on ship time instead of island time 😬) Never a mention of us being late! This tour was so enjoyable and our tour guide was so informative, and never hesitated to stop and allow us time to look around. If you get a chance to take this excursion, do it! You won’t regret it!!

Great way to see the island of Nassau - Other than the confusion of the location pick up, the tour was fantastic! Coming off the ship and not having Internet it took us almost 25 minutes to find the stretch Jeep location Rocky was our tour guide and he was amazing! There was no one else on our tour with us, so it was literally like a private tour of the island. We made three awesome stops and then finished up with some caribean tastings from drifters.

Nassau Highlights in a fun vehicle! - We were directed to wait at a meetup location across the street from the port. Nearly 45 minutes after the time that we were supposed to arrive and about the time we were convinced we'd been forgotten, our driver arrived on foot and walked us back over to the port. We loaded into the jeep where we waited some more for the rest of the group to arrive from the ships. It would have just made more sense for them to give us a different arrival time so we didn't have to wait so long. We took a ride through the city and the driver gave us some nice commentary about what we were seeing. We stopped first at a rum cake store that was very small, they gave us some samples and we loaded back up. We stopped at the queens staircase and he gave us the opportunity to walk down it and he would pick us up. Next up was a stop at the tea store. They made us listen to their sales pitch and offered samples. Outside were 2 bars, one with fresh daquiris. They're good and refreshing on a hot day. By this point I'm feeling like a captive audience for sales pitches. The BEST part of the day and what redeemed this tour for me, was the Junkanoo experience. These people are the BEST and the experience was so informative, so fun, and left us smiling for hours! This was also the only place we stopped with a restroom so far. Finally, we took a ride to the fish fry where we were seated inside and served family style. It was a nice snack, although a little uncomfortable to eat/share family style with strangers. A restroom was available here as well. We then loaded up and headed back to the port. Shopping for rum cake and tea and a few souvenirs was available along the way. There was an abundance of shopping at the straw market and other shops in and directly across from the port entrance where everything but the tea was readily available. I would recommend waiting to shop until the end. This is a good way to experience many parts of Nassau in a few hours.

The queens steps very disappointing. Waste of time. 4. Lunch was very nice but don't dare ask for a refill it was infaticly NO. 5. Be able to climb into the jeep. 6. Not worth the trip. 7. Not as advertised - This tour started late. Per our instructions, we were to meet our guide at 1 pm. The folks coming from the ship did not arrive to the Jeep until 1:30 pm. I know some things move slow when on vacation time, but that delay cut into our tour time as we needed to get back to the ship. Per the description of the tour, we were to see the Queens Staircase and the John Watlings Distillery. We saw neither. We spent a long time at the Junkanoo Experience. Culturally interesting, but the time could have been cropped. The Taste of Teas had nothing to do with the Bahamas, and the rum tasting felt like a tourist trap ( and there wasn’t enough rum cake for all the participants!) Leroy (Leon?) kept talking about plans to get drunk, how he recently quit and was rehired, the the level of the Bahamian government’s corruption. The radio did not work in the Jeep. Overall, a disappointing afternoon tour.
