Go at beginning of your trip - Christa was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend you do this tour in the beginning of your time in Nassau as the tour is merely an introduction to a bunch of cool places you visit during your stay. You get free samples along the way but you are mainly walking through to get a glimpse of some cool places. There is another review on here that was extremely convincing and explained the two things I was concerned about (1) it honestly did not feel like 3 hours. We did a loop around the city and were back before any of us noticed and (2) the tip thing was not as awkward as I expected. It was the very last thing we did and since we all knew it was coming it happened quickly. Everyone in our group had it in their hands. She didn't even look at it in front of us and was extremely grateful that we showed our appreciation. I would highly recommend!!

Great walking tour. Totally recommended! - It was a great tour. The guide adapted the tour to our needs, considering it was me with my three kids all under 9 y/o. Totally recommended!

Make this your first excursion in Nassau. - This excursion was absolutely fantastic. Christa is extremely personable and is an excellent ambassador for the Bahamas. I’d recommend her tour as the first thing you do when you get to Nassau. It’s a ton of walking but you get to see and hear about the history of Nassau as well as know what places you should visit during the rest of your stay.

This tour was amazing!! Christa is a gem and so kind!! - Christa is amazing!! We have been to the Bahamas several times and never taken any sort of tour but this tour was truly the highlight of this trip. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about her island but she's so funny. Her tour was engaging for the entire family and our youngest was 12 and the oldest was 53 and we were all engaged the entire 3 hours. The Chocolate factory and the queens staircase were my favorite stops. Also stopping to smell the flowers and literally trying fruit from the trees was really special. I really enjoyed that she walked at a comfortable pace so nobody was left behind. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about Christa and her tour. If you're even remotely considering a walking tour this is the one. I also advise you go at the beginning of the trip so she you can go back and enjoy all her recommendations later. Christa is a gem and our time spent with her learning and laughing about the beautiful Bahamaian culture will be cherished forever. (Sidenote...if you're curious about the tip/gratuity model...I was...it's simple. You tip her at the end of the tour. The fee you pay for the tour is just a booking fee. Bring cash for her tip! The tour is well worth every penny and please tip her well...she deserves it! Also she's not pushy at all when it comes to tipping so pay what your heart tells you to...she's a wonderful tour guide.)

Highly Personable, Engaging Guide - Crystal is a highly personable, informative, and smart guide. She immediately set a relaxed tone for the walk and drew out the backgrounds of each of us, so we felt like we knew one another. The tour itself was very informative, and Crystal kept an eye on everyone to see if anyone was tiring in the heat. Overall a great investment of time!
