Good Food, Great Guide - Our guide, Captain Ron, was the best part of the tour, engaging, entertaining, and knowledgeable. The food, while very good, was next in line. The tour encompassed a fair portion of downtown Nassau, with historical information provided along the way. As said, the food was very good. My wife, who does not normally eat seafood of any kind, ate the conch fritters and fish taco on this tour and enjoyed them. The overall experience was very worthwhile - good food, great guide.

Delicious all the way around! - Nicolette was our tour guide and she was AMAZING!!!! Bahamian Cooking was my personal favorite... everything was outstanding! Favorite drink spot was hands down the moonshine! There's not a bad stop on the entire tour. Highly recommend all the way around! I would totally do it again!

26 stars (believe it, and do it) - Just the fantastic Bahamian food and drink we enjoyed on this adventure alone would be a 5/5, easily. Meeting the proprietors, experiencing their souls embedded in their fine establishments and hearing the stories and history behind them are a 5/5 at the very least. The group from Ohio, Oregon and California who got stuck with me were a minimum 5/5. Now you need to add in our star host and this becomes an outrageous overall entertainment value of 26/5 and the highlight of my visit to Nassau. Let me tell you a bit more about the razor-sharp, witty, self-deprecating, articulate, intelligent, respectful, and naturally positive Lisa. She's 32, a mother of four, has a charming husband who convinced their kids to call her Kevin for a month, absolutely knows her stuff, and optimistically will become the prime minister of the Bahamas. Guy Fieri and the Food Network need to get their @sses over to Nassau to meet her and experience this culinary dream. I'm sure they would quickly understand why Lisa and the Bahamas need to be promoted, and what everyone else not in the know is missing out on. You need to get on this now! #voteforlisa!

Bahamian food....yum - What a wonderful way to learn about Nassau Bahama through a walking tour and yummy bites and drinks with an experienced guide like Lisa. She was full of history as well as local dishes. We tasted on delicious yellow chicken curry with rice, plantains, gourmet chocolates, guava pizza, fish tacos, conch fritters and plantain fish bowl. Of course, all the bites came with tasty drinks too. A wonderful way to learn about the people, history and culture through a food tour. We highly recommend it. And if you are lucky enough to get Lisa as a guide, even better!

A must do in Nassau - A great way to see downtown Nassau and learn about the history and the local food. Easy walk - everything quite close together and no major hills. Fantastic food and drink at each stop. Our tour guide Lelly was the best! Very knowledgeable about history, food, and taught us how to say things properly here in the Bahamas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would recommend to do this tour early in your visit to Nassau - a great intro and Lelly answered all our practical questions to make our whole week run smoothly. A much better way to see downtown than sweating through the tourist traps and souvenir shops. #Lellyforgovernorgeneral

Great insight of Nassau - Nelly (I think that was her name) was an awesome tour guide. During the samples, she would talk to us like we were all family. The sights and samples were wonderful. People were so pleasant. I would advise people that this is a very physical walk that has a lot of uphill. Pace yourself and you will make it.

Thanks Nicolette! - Having Nicolette was probably the best part of the tour. Was the food good, yes, but to make your tour successful, you need Nicolette. She's friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and she loves her town. I truly loved seeing locals around physically embrace her. The best of the meal is at Bahamian Cookin'. The amount of food you get is crazy for a tasting tour, but it's good home cooking. Even without trying the fried conch, the chicken, mac n cheese, cole slaw, potato salad, plantains, and rice were excellent. Hands down our favorite. You don't need the upgraded drink package. You get plenty of alcohol tastings. My favorite was at Towne Hotel. Fruity and delicious. I didn't love the chickpea taco at Monkey Foot, but that's me. We would take the tour again.

Captain Ron is awesome. ... - Captain Ron is awesome. High energy, knowledgeable and a great story teller. The tour gave you lots of insight into Bahamian history and culture. However, there just wasn’t enough food. The first stop had a decent size meal. The only recommendation would be to provide more food at the various stops. It’s a food tour after all. Other than that, we recommend this tour.
