Authentic Caribbean Food - Our guide was fun, kind, and knowledgable. Give the guy (Pierre) a raise, he’s great! It was a fun thing to do once. I don’t think I would book again but I’m glad we got this experience as a family. We are foodies and enjoy tasting authentic foods everywhere we travel. I don’t think it was worth $99 per person. More like $60 per person would have been a more fair price. There was not a ton of food, but we didn’t leave hungry or thirsty. We were hungry though about 2 hours later. Still, we enjoyed it and are not complaining, just giving people a heads up.

Captain Ron knows his stuff - Had a great time with Captain Ron on this tour. Great food lots of history and a good long walk. We liked some of the places so much we came back the next day. The John Watling’s Distillery is a must see. Loved the sample of chocolate and history of Greycliff was very interesting. The steamed chicken at the Bahamian Kitchen was amazing! Highly recommended this tour

Bahamas Walking Tour a Hit! - Deja was an awesome and informative tour guide! She asked us what we were most interested in and directed the tour accordingly. We learned a lot about the history of the area and enjoyed the local food and drink. We ate breakfast before we toured so the portions were perfect. The last serving was practically a meal! We were not hungry for lunch at all. A must do for anyone interested in the culture of the area. Do it in the morning and you have the rest of the day to shop and/or enjoy the beach, etc.

Great food tour of Nassau - We enjoy food tours and booked this tour in Nassau. Our tour guide was Marc who was very knowledgeable about the food and history of Nassau and the Bahamas. The tour started at Bahamian Cooking on Parliament Street where we had a variety of local foods including concgh fritters, rice and peas and chicken. We then went to Greycliffe to see the properly and sample chocolate. We also stopped to see Government House along the way. We went to John Watlings for rum and fish tacos and then to Towne Hotel for rum punch and meet the macaw. At our last stop we had fried plantain with grouper. The tour is fun and informative. You also get lots of food.

Perfect Bahamian Cruise Excursion - This tour was an absolute delight! By some luck, my husband and I were the only people on the tour, so we were easily able to chat with and ask question of our guide Pierre. He was personable, knowledgeable, funny, and seemed happy to share his culture with us. Everything we ate and drank was absolutely delicious and I would 100% happily go back to each location for more next time we're in Nassau! I was stuffed by the end, and my husband was quite content as well. We were here on a short cruise, with a 1 day stop in Nassau. We did the 10:30AM tour, which started a short and easy walk from the port. It took almost exactly 3 hours, leaving us with plenty of time to wander around a bit, buy some souvenirs, and make it back to the ship well before the 5:30 All Aboard time. It was a perfect introduction to the island, its food, and its culture!

Great Guide and Great Vibes - Let’s just start by saying that Lisa needs to be eating with us on this tour. She is easily the best part of the experience, and she must dine as we dine. That aside, the actual tour was nice. Perfect for something to do as a cruise excursion (we were on MSC), but some non-cruisers were part of our tour group as well, and they were fun too! The food was good, and the historical components were nice as well. The nearly 3.5 hours we were on the tour didn’t nearly feel like it, as we were engaged the whole time, rather by other group members or our guide. There is plenty of walking, and it was very hot outside, but it didn’t take away from the experience. I highly recommend this tour! I want to reiterate that the host should dine with us as well.

!!!! LISA IS AWESOME AT HER JOB GREAT TOUR!!!!!!! - Lisa, our guide was terrific. She’s very knowledgeable, fun, and great at her job. The only complaint from our group was we should have been served more of the tostones with grouper, they were delicious!! These local restaurants are really missing out on opportunities for travelers to return to their locations for lunch or dinner. When people travel to the Bahamas, they want to experience local foods. The resort food quality is just average, yet outrageously overpriced. Local restaurants could capitalize on this fact.
