Our trip - We booked a half day trip on the water and from the get go it was all about us. Captain Jason asked us what we wanted to do, and that’s what we did! We weren’t forced to follow a canned trip, he tailored our trip to our wants and needs. He was professional and very helpful. The boat was well kept and the equipment was in good working condition. We really enjoyed our trip with Captain Jason and would highly recommend this company to anyone!

Great time on the water! - We had so much fun with Captains Jason and Jason. Such friendly guys. We booked the 4 hours to snorkel, fish and sightsee. We saw lots of fish, swam with a loggerhead turtle and caught some fish. Boat was comfortable for 7 of us. My 17 year old got sea sick and they were very kind to her. We requested a stop to swim with the pigs which was an extra cost we paid to the pig company which was fun too. I’d book with them again when I get back to the Bahamas. Reliable, safe and FUN!

Amazing opportunity - Captain Jason took us on a 4 hour trip and geared it to what we wanted to do (spearfishing, snorkeling and roaming around nearby islands). He was so nice, great sense of humor and he shared some really cool information about the area. It was a blast for all (18-77 yrs old). Due to cruise ship time limitations we could only do 4 hours. Ship times got changed last minutes and they were able to accommodate. They picked us up right near the ship port. No buses or Uber needed. We wish we could have done the 6 hour. It would have been a blast to have had time to grab lunch and a little more time to try and spear a lobster. My son did get a little fish though! So nice to escape all the people from the busy tourist boat rentals.

Wonderful excursion in Nassau - My family and I had a terrific day with Captain Jason and his son, Jason Jr. They are very knowledgeable about the area and brought us to remote places we would not otherwise be able to see. We swam with sea turtles and snorkeled on a reef with lots of colorful fish. Our group speared a lobster, which we had cooked for us as part of our lunch at Footprints, a cool bar/restaurant on a secluded beach. We even cruised through part of Atlantis. This was our favorite excursion of our cruise! It was recommended to me as a good option in Nassau and it didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend to others.

Wonderful private charter in Nassau - We did our second six hour private charter with Island Time Charters in November, 2024. We were able to snorkel with sea turtles, go to a secluded beach, fish, spearfish and even go to a restaurant to eat what we had caught. This is our go to activity every time we are in Nassau. If you come in on a cruise ship, they pick you up right by the port (five minute walk to the pickup). It is so convenient and easy.

Family Charter - We took 6 of our grandchild on a cruise and decided to charter a boat instead of taking an excursion with the cruise line. After some research I landed on Island Time Charters and communicated with Jason via email. I explained we wanted to divide our time(4hrs) between fishing, snorkeling and beach. Our ship dock in Nassau and we walked down the street to where the charter boats pick people up just before you get to Senior Frogs. We were set up with a very nice guy named Herman. By this time my wife and I decided we just wanted fishing and snorkeling as the next day was a beach day. So, Herman took us to a get fishing spot. On the way we did some sight seeing through Atlantis marina and Rose Island. He baited everyone's hooks and we cast the lines. with in a minute we were pulling out grouper, snapper and triggerfish! We caught 7 or 8 in all. From there we went snorkeling. Unfortunately the water was a bit cold! We braved it for about half hour and returned to the boat. The only concern I did have was only having the one guide there while snorkeling. When I was communicating with Jason and based on other reviews, I was under the impression there would be at least two employees on the boat. With 6 kids in the water ages between 10 and 16 who, all but one, never snorkeled, safety was a major concern. But was in the water with the kids and kept a close eye on them all. Herman took us to another spot at Pearl Island but it was too choppy, but he threw some crackers into the water and we watched the fish surface and eat them up. Our time was winding down so I requested we took our time doing more sight seeing on the way back to the ship. Overall it was a great time. Water could have been warmer, could have been calmer seas and the sun could have been out more but that's nothing Herman could have done anything about. I will recommend Island Time.

Great excursion!! - A great excursion in the Bahamas! Eddie & Jim were great at finding the good fishing spots! We explored an uninhabited island which was beautiful! Then he had us snorkeling at a great reef after everyone else had left.

Best excursion so far - Two families of 4 traveling together, we booked the 6 hour tour. No problems at all getting a cab from the cruise port to the marina the cabby promised to be waiting for us when we got back and he did not disappoint. Capt greeted us an we went fishing, spear fishing, snorkeling on a reef and snorkeling with turtles. Then he brought us to a beach bar and grill the cooked what we had just caught. We had a few drinks and he set the kids up with a couple fishing poles and they caught a few more fish while we relaxed. Everything as promised. 100% would recommend. Our group was 3 teens, 4 adults and a young one, everyone was happy.

INCREDIBLE DAY—10 out of 10!!! - I cannot recommend Island Time Charters enough. My family of 4 (2 kids 11 &9) had the best day! Amazing snorkeling spots, swimming with the pigs, fabulous lunch on the water! The boat was fast and clean—Jason and his son were incredibly kind and so much fun to spend the day with! I will absolutely refer friends and family traveling to Nassau to Captain Jason!!!
