Fun Beach Day - We had a real fun time at Sun Cay and swimming with pigs. Transport from the cruise port was a quick and beautiful boat trip, the guides were friendly, and the pickup prompt. Spent some time at Sun Cay enjoying the beach, then took a quick boat trip to pig island to swim with the pigs. A very fun experience that did not feel rushed. We went back to Sun Cay for a nice lunch. We did not have snorkeling in our package, but for an extra $20, a couple of us decided to snorkel at Sun Cay. It was a 30 minute snorkel where we saw a ton of fish and a stingray. For the price, I’d say the added snorkeling was worth it if you feel like you have time. We got back to the cruise port with about an hour to wander through some of the shops. Would definitely recommend this excursion.

Swim with the Pigs - I wanted to say I enjoyed my excursion on your island. I came in with Royal Carribean Cruise ship this past Sunday and everything was amazing! The food was excellent and Chef Dennis was friendly, professional and made sure we were happy and satisfied with the service provided . The food was unmatched and I will be definitely returning!

Glad for the experience - The boat ride out to the islands were great. The kiddos enjoyed feeding the pigs, although our youngest got bit in the arm long after, while walking on the beach. (No broken skin or anything). Just scared her. We watched for our busy to come back and was getting dressed when our boat left us. They didn’t do a head count. So we had to wait another hour for the next boat. That cut into our lunch and the rest of the day we were supposed to spend on pearl island. We called the host and no answer, when left. The workers on the island boarded us first in the next boat. Disappointed in getting way less beach time that day but the pigs were a neat experience

High priced photo shoot with pigs - Boat driver great, but was yelled at by some bald headed lady worker due to miscommunication. There was a general lack of order to the whole trip. Our pig adventure was at 11:00 but didn’t arrive until 11:30. We got in but I think we lost valuable info the other people received as they went to the island instead of to the pigs (on a separate island). Experience was ok with pigs. They really aren’t going to swim with you unless they feel eager enough to go out in the water to get the food you were given to feed them with. Lunch was ok, wish it was larger, and you had to pay for drinks. They had a cooler for cups and water but it was empty. Paid $30 for water. Rest of the time was just sitting on the island. Lack of communication with workers, told by 2 different workers our return boat was loading in one location while in fact it was all the way across the island. Had to run with family to make it. Not the company fault but someone vomited on the ride back and it went everywhere so we all dodged throw up as it rolled around in the boat for 25 minutes. Wouldn’t really recommend the trip to others unless you want to spend $700 to feed a pig hot dogs for 15 minutes.

Pig Beach, the rest just ok - Let me preface, our cruise diverted to Nassau due to Hurricane Beryl, so this was a last min excursion. The tour started late, and it seemed unorganized…maybe overbooked. We road a large charter boat, leisurely over to Sun Cay, staff was nice. Got to Sun Cay and was told by the boat staff we could claim any available cabana, beach chair, table, kayak, paddle board, etc that wasn’t marked Private. We found a nice shaded cabana & headed to the beach. Water was clean & clear. When went back our belongs at the cabana a different staff person said we were incorrectly advised & we either had to pay $100/hour to rent or move. He was not understanding that many of us were told this by his co-worker & made us move. After we were all out of the area, he went back & roped it off. This left us with not many areas left that were shaded. We had our lunch tickets & were given fried fish, a BBQ chicken leg, Cajun rice & a tiny sample of slaw. No drinks are included other than warm water out of an Igloo drink cooler. It was ok, but there’s no other options & no choice is given for food, this is exactly what you are served. There is a bar to purchase drinks…uncertain of prices. We had 2 1/2 hours there to wait to then take a smaller boat to Pig Island. The boat had some hole/patches on the deck & staff was more interested in SnapChat than assisting visitors finding seats, etc. Even my own teenager (who loves her Snapchat) pointed that out! Once on Pig Island, staff was nice & informative. But you’re only there for about 30 mins before leaving. For us it was a long drawn out day, not what we had anticipated. I feel Sun Cay is a tourist trap and for the price could be done much better!!!

Overpriced and under delivered experience - The people running the boat was great, high energy, good sense of humor and kept everyone safe. However, Viator upsold the cost of this activity by more than 100% and trapped the activity goers on the island for too long ( the pig interaction is 30 minutes but we were kept there from 11am to 3pm). The advertised snorkeling and paddle boarding are not free and there was no mention of it in the activity discription. Feeling a bit ripped off and wasting a lot of my vacation time.

Pearl Island is a Waste of Time and Money = Don't Go - Not worth the trip; go to a petting zoo instead. Off the cruise ship, customers are diverted to Pearl Island (Sun Cay), where there is lack of shade, and extremely limited services (2 bathrooms where you can view the occupant in the stalls and three bars), on a thin strip of land that has a one person wide walk way for the entire length. Swimming with the pigs is NOT a five hour adventure, but only lasts 30 minutes when taken by boat (if it shows up as scheduled), to the pigs who have been penned and kept hot on a neighboring piece of "island." The pigs are released to the tour guides who are positioned in the water and hold buckets of apple slices, though each customer is given a plastic cup with two to three pieces and a skewer, for the purposes of feeding the pigs. The pigs will eat the apple pieces then venture to the guides for more food from the buckets, while another staff member scans and lifts piggie poop from the water after it's been "released." Back at Pearl Island (Sun Cay), the lunch menu (mush rice with scant red bean infused; soggy cauliflower and zucchini medley; steamed fish with the supposed crispy breading falling off; and one chicken drumstick), is served from chafing dishes, only offered lukewarm, as is the 3/4 plastic cup of water, with no ice offered. When asked how to obtain lunch when the pig tour is coinciding with the hour to eat, the staff will tell you that you should have eaten earlier, because you cannot be late to your boat shuttle back to Nassau. Most of the Pearl Island staff was not very friendly, as exhibited at the seemingly empty sales shack wherein the seller was drunk, calling out to passers by. Do not travel to Pearl Island

Nope - There is no food or drinks where the pigs are so be prepared if you leave at 10:30 and have an 11am time you will be miserable by the time your done if you don’t take stuff. It’s dirty. I won’t get into all the other stuff.
