• Wadi El Natrun - You will be picked up by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Wadi El-Natroun, known as the birthplace of monasticism. Originally, there were about 50 monasteries, but only 4 have survived to this day. Your day tour will begin with a visit to Deir al-Baramus, the oldest and most isolated of the surviving monasteries. Next, you will proceed to Deir Anba Bishoi, where the body of Anba Bishoi is still kept. The trip will conclude with a visit to Deir El-Suryani, the smallest and best-preserved monastery.
