Best Cultural Experience - The perfect cultural experience. We learnt about the land and all the gifts it has to offer: How to use every part of a coconut tree and the traditions of Fijian culture. We rode down Navua river and travelled by bamboo raft! We swam in a waterfall running off the beautiful mountains. I highly recommend this day trip. It was a long journey there and back but completely worth it!

Amazing experience! - We initially planned to meet at the meeting point as our hotel wasn't listed in the pick up locations. Scott from the company messaged asking if we need a ride to and from the hotel and we agreed. They really went the extra mile to make sure our experience was brilliant! Highly recommend

Fantastic Tour - Nemani was an awesome guide! He was entertaining, and informative. He wanted to share the traditions and history of Fiji and the Melanesian people. The activities were great, the long boat ride, hiking a short distance to the waterfall and swimming in the refreshing water. A short ride on the bamboo raft and a delicious lunch. There was a traditional kava ceremony, dances and songs, as well as demonstrations on weaving and the use of coconuts. Nemani had a great sense of humor throughout the tour. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience so many activities that showcase the Fijian culture! Excellent!

A great experience - A terrific & well organised day. Great longboat trip up the river & over the rapids to swim at the Magic waterfalls. An enjoyable native village experience, with cultural dancing, singing & kava ceremony, and a nice Fijian buffet lunch.

Wonderful experience! - We loved this experience! Our guide, Issac told us amazing stories, told us about Fijian traditions & culture and shared his family’s history. The Kava ceremony was a special one, reserved for welcoming Chieftains, which was with traditional dance by the men. Really special. The little market wasn’t expensive and all hand made. Lovely gifts & mementos. The tribe were generous by preparing a traditional lunch for us which was delicious! The river boat was great & the skipper was sure to be safe near the small but fast rapids. All the guides helped when walking to the waterfall and getting in & out. Waterfall was beautiful and the swimming was gorgeous & refreshing. This experience was suitable for children, we took our 7 & 2yr old but be prepared for a long day especially if travelling from Denarau. Bring snacks. You will need a sarong for the Kava ceremony - flip flops are suitable as the walk to the waterfall is an easy one.

Must do - I have just came back from the Jewel of Fiji tour & OMG this was the best ever definitely a 10/10 Our tour guide Nem & captain Gavin are the absolute bomb. They made our day enjoyable and so much fun. The river boat, the waterfall, the bamboo raft, the cultural ceremony, the lovo delicious food, the drinking of Kava, the fun & hilarious snake dancing, the making of baskets, cracking open a coconut, the bark painting, a lovely massage and shopping was fabulous. It has a bit of everything. It's a must do while in Fiji you won't regret it. Thank you to the men & woman from the Koromakawa Village you were so hospitable and lovely. A special thank you to Nem you are a gem.. Love you lots

Great combination of Local village experience and scenic sights - A great experience to see the country and enjoy the Fiji village experience. Our day started with 1-1/4 hour travel from our Hotel in the Coral coast area. On reaching the village, we were immediately given the life jackets and boarded a motorized canoe. We were a total of eight people in The group. The canoe ride to the waterfalls was about 30 minutes. The river was very shallow in some areas and the Canoe Capitan navigated with great skill and knowledge of the river. We then got out of the canoe and walked for 5-7 minutes uphill to the waterfalls. The water was very refreshing and we were able to swim in the lagoon formed below the falls. We then went back to the canoe and onto the bamboo raft which could tale all eight of us. The leader then used his skill of navigating down the river with his long bamboo stick. After 20 minutes, we got onto the canoe again and returned to the village. We witnessed the Hava ceremony and got to participate in a dance with the local folks. We then were shown the Lova (underground cooking) food prepared and see how the fire/ heat source for the cooking was done. The lunch served by the village folk included items taken out from the Lova oven and many other local traditional dishes. The food was delicious and plentiful. Saw a coconut palm weaving demo and mat weaving. It was then time to say bye to the village and head back to our hotel. Overall good day outing. Would have preferred to have more time at the waterfalls as it was refreshing.
