Best cooking class in Naxos! - My husband really wanted to take a cooking class while we were on our honeymoon and this class was perfect! The food was delicious and Ana and her family were the kindest. It was our favorite experience on our trip. We highly recommend!!

More than just cooking! - I loved every single thing about this cooking class, especially because it is much more than cooking. As we sat together at the long table, chopping vegetables, we became a close-knit group, which deepened in connection throughout the two walks with the guides and the breaking of bread together. The wine and the dancing didn’t hurt either!

Nothing better than farm fresh cooking! - We were one of the last cooking classes of the season and I must say it was incredible! We lucked out and ended up with just 2 other people. This is a beautiful farm and the family was so welcoming. The food was delicious and we will definitely be making these dishes at home! If you are able to go for the walk while your food is cooking make sure you do as you will learn some history along the way. Thank you for having us and adding these memories to our trip!

Best Cooking Class Ever. - We loved the cooking class. The farm is up in the mountains and run by the same family for 5 generations. We got to go into their garden and pick tomatoes, zucchinis, string beans and green peppers for our lunch. We processed them and added potatoes and rice with lots of herbs. While the food was baking, the owner took us on a tour of the farm. Besides the vegetables, there are also various trees of oranges, limes, lemons, grapes, grapefruit, bananas, figs, olives and citron. Then "Mama" placed all the food on the table. Everything we ate and drank were from the farm. Afterwards a Greek dance with breaking dishes. This was the best cooking class we have taken.

Fun cooking class - We really enjoyed this class and would recommend it if you are visiting Naxos. You are in a group of about 18 people and they divide you into groups of six. Each group of 6 works on making the same dishes. You make about 3 dishes total in your group (e.g., stuffed vegetables, tzatziki, etc) and then the host has a wide range of other prepared dishes that is served as part of the dinner meal. Pros: good selection of dishes for the meal, plus a nice tour of the farm as part of the class and you learn about the agricultural process in the area. Cons: When you turn off the main road, you have to drive down a small steep paved road to get to the farm -- it ended up being fine for everyone but was a bit intimidating going down the first time. Also, I did take another cooking class on Crete the same week and I appreciated that that one was much smaller (about 8 people total), you cooked all the dinner dishes together (about 8 dishes total), and you received a printed copy of the recipes to take home. It would be great if this type of smaller, more immersive cooking class was also an option here.
