- Temple of Demeter - After paying for your admission ticket at the gate, you will walk uphill through a beautiful garden and reach Demeter’s Temple, one of the most significant ancient monuments of Naxos. You will learn about the history of the sanctuary and also have some free time to visit the on spot museum. The Temple of Demeter is closed on Tuesdays and on the 1st of May and instead more free time is provided in Chalki and Apiranthos villages.
- Damalas - At the small village of Damalas, Manolis will warmheartedly welcome you to his traditional pottery workshop and reveal ancient secrets of his art. Afterwards you will visit the restored olive press museum and learn everything about the old procedure of olive oil production.
- Chalkio - Continue to Chalki, an ancient commercial center and a place of beautiful Venetian architecture. You will have approximately 45’ free time to explore by yourselves. Don’t miss the oldest distillery of the island
- Apeiranthos - Next, make a long stop at the famous village of Apiranthos located at the foot of Fanari mountain. Admire the beautiful views of Venetian Towers, marbled alleys, cozy tavernas, verandas, and traditional shops. Here, you will have free time for lunch
- Apollonas Beach - Driving past Koronos village and the famous emery mines, you will reach Apollonas. Get free time at the picturesque fishing village to go for a quick dip and enjoy a coffee or desert by the seaside.
- Apollonas Kouros - End your tour with a visit to the infamous “Kouros”, an unfinished marble Statue of 11 meters, lying in the same spot for more than 2500 years!

Highlights of our tour:
- Admire Demeter’s Temple, a sanctuary dated back in the 6th Century BC.
- Explore the marble paved neighborhoods of Apiranthos
- Photoshoot the gigantic statue of Kouros at the ancient marble quarries
- Visit The picturesque fishing village of Apollonas
- We pick up our guests from central places in Naxos Town, Stelida, Agia Anna, Agios Prokopios and Plaka Beach. In other case our guests can meet us directly at our starting point.
- On Tuesdays the Demeter’s Temple is closed. Instead we will spend more time in our other stops
- This tour will take place rain or shine. Small changes may apply to the itinerary in case of rough weather
- A big part of the trip is through winding, mountainous roads. Please carry travel sickness pills in case you feel uneasy
- The tour guide is not licensed and thus not allowed to guide you inside Demeter’s Temple. You will get all the information about the monument before you enter the gate.
- On the 1st of May the Demeter’s Temple will be closed.

Perfect way to see the island in one day. - What a great way to see the island for first-timers. The bus left from just outside our hotel and was a very comfortable coach with a very competent driver. We got to see many interesting places and the lunch stop in Apeiranthos was a treat. Highlight was the chance to swim at Apollonas. Our guide was great and the value for money was what stood out.

Great overview of naxos - Views were amazing, many opportunities for photos, beautiful tour of the various villages and points of interest around Naxos. Really enjoyed Apollonas!

Fabulous day trip exploring beautiful Naxos! - Our tour guide Alex was very knowledgeable and informative throughout the tour. Plenty of time to explore various stops. The whole tour went smoothly, efficiently and on time. Loved the destinations we visited.

Great tour - The tour guide (Angelica) was knowledgeable and provided information but did not talk too much! The bus driver made me feel safe despite the terrain that I would have never wanted to drive by myself!

The best day on Paros - This trip was fantastic value for money - we saw so much of Paros, and learnt lots about each place that we went. Our driver Spiros was amazing negotiating the narrow roads, and our guide Thanos was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Paros is beautiful and interesting, and we saw far more than we would have if we had hired our own vehicle for a day.

A fantastic and informative tour of Naxos - Right from the outset the tour had all the indicators it would be good. The bus was on time, it was clean. The driver Vasilis and the guide, Alex, were well organized, friendly and worked well as a team. Alex combined great local knowledge with a terrific capacity to be clear about what we were seeing, how long we had, and what time and where to rejoin the bus. She kept us well informed but also gave us time to look at the surrounds and contemplate. Her English is excellent and her manner friendly. She naturally engages and showed a genuine interest in her passengers. We learned a lot about Naxos and her love for the place was obvious. She was always willing to answer questions and did so in an eloquent manner. She was patient and has a good sense of humor. Similarly, our driver, Vasilis, was a steady hand, safe and sure. He was always where it had been arranged and we left from all points on time. The small size group benefited all passengers but this was a tour that delivered more than I expected (and I was thinking it would be good) so thanks to the company and especially Alex and Vasilis for making it a highlight of my family stay in Naxos.

Great day - We took this bus tour after 4 days spent in Naxos with our 2 daughters (6 and 3 years old).
It was a very nice day. This tour allows you to quickly discover the entire northern half of the island and possibly give ideas for the next excursions.
For each free time, Alex gladly offers ideas. These free time allowed us to go quietly following the pace of the children.
Alex is a very nice person. She has a very easy to understand English and she makes sure that everyone can understand her.

We took this tour on the occasion of our 50th wedding anniversary and we're glad we did. - The bus driver was exceptional, and the sites visited were all very worthwhile. I would recommend this trip to get a good overview of the island of Naxos.

Recommended day tour on Naxos - Highly recommended bus tour to various villages and sights of Naxos. Very sympathetic and competent guide. Slightly smaller groups and a little more time at each location would make the tour even better.
