- Naxos - Our seasoned guide will lead you on a journey through history. We will guide you through the Venetian Castle, highlighting key features such as the terrace of the Ursuline Nun school for a breathtaking view of Naxos town, the Catholic cathedral, Barozzi tower, and the castle’s South, East, and North Gates. After immersing ourselves in the medieval ambiance of Naxos, we’ll explore the ancient marketplace, visit the Orthodox Cathedral and its museum where you’ll witness artifacts from the Mycenaean period. Before reaching the iconic Portara, we’ll pause to taste the Citron Liquor, a protected designation of origin product from Naxos. Our final destination is the majestic Portara, where, following an informative overview of the site, you’ll be treated to a magnificent sunset!

Worth doing in Naxos - This was a lovely, laid back tour. Only 4 of us on it. It took around 1 hour 45. Guide kindly waited for someone who was at the incorrect meeting point. Guide took photos of us, and brought us all around the vast castle grounds in the town of Naxos and the Temple of Apollo.

Nice evening - This tour including a little walk, a view of the sunset and a little meal shared between the group was really nice. I had a lot of fun and the guide was very thoughtful and interesting!

Great way to experience Naxos at sunset - Visiting Castle and seeing Tempke of Apollo

Magnificent! Perfect amount of time - Thanos, our tour guide, was lively and entertaining. His knowledge of the island's history and culture was impressive. He was able to answer all our questions. His pride in the island of Naxos was obvious. We had an excellent time. The walk was not strenuous and could be done by all abilities

Good tour of Hora! - Our tour guide, Vicki, was very knowledgeable, friendly and was able to answer any questions we had about the history of Naxos. I would highly recommend this tour to learn more about the history of Naxos, Hora and the Portara.

Last minute cancellation by the guide - As much as we were looking forward to this sunset walking tour, unfortunately the guide was unwell at the very last minute. The office staff were very apologetic and their customer service to facilitate a full refund was prompt and professional.
We were offered an opportunity to experience the tour on another day but sadly, we were leaving early the next day. Next time 🇬🇷

Ripped Off, pure Money Grab - Came by catamaran and weather changed our schedule. We called and tour guide said no, even though we were not in the island because of sea’s changing destination. Pure money grab by tour agent. Trip Advisor should have stepped in. Bad service. Go with VIATOR or Get Your Guide. Avoid this company.
