- Nasca Lines - After picking you up, we will go to Paracas city to flight around the famous and enigmatic Nazca Lines. They are a group of very large geoglyphs hand formed/scratched out to make very strong depressions or shallow dirt removals in the dark soil of the Nazca Desert to reveal the very white under layer of rock or clay. These were carved out sometime between 200 AD and possibly 600 AD. There is no written record of the exact dates, but these seem to be a possible time frame. There is no a definitive reason for the carvings; however, numerous theories have been advanced: sculptures to be seen from the surrounding mountains, a big work project to worship they ancestors, or possibly a kind of message for their god so as to have water since the area is dry and it almost does not rain. You will watch the most representative figures such as the hummingbird, spider, monkey, geometrical forms and other mysterious forms.

We’ll make our pit stop at Ica city to visit the sole oasis of America known as Huacachina where you’ll get to practice sandboarding and go on sand car rides. It’s an experience brimming with adventure and thrill.
Next, we’ll head to the Ica aerodrome for your approximately 1-hour flight over the Nazca lines. Soak in the sight of the 13 figures etched into the desert of Peru.
Post-flight, we’ll visit a vineyard specializing in producing pisco and wine where you’ll get to taste these beverages. Here, we’ll also serve a typical Peruvian lunch.

The most amazing experience - The experience was incredible.
As it was a private tour there was leeway with how long we wanted to spend at each location.
Our Driver Claudio and our tour guide Ronald were so lovely and our trip was made because of them.
I would thoroughly recommend this tour and although it may be more expensive than a group tour, the benefit of having flexibility and your own guide outweighs this.

Nazca lines and desert experience - This trip was a long day but extremely worth it. From the greeting at 6am Ronald and Carlos provided excellent knowledge of the areas we travelled through and provided interesting insights into the Peruvian culture and regions. First we experienced the dune buggies and the oasis. This was very enjoyable. Our guide was extremely experienced. We then visited a winery before finishing the day flying over the Nazca lines. It was a 10 out of 10 for the whole trip

Nasca Lines - Our guide Felipe did a super job. We did the super dube buggy ride, rode the sand dunes and flrw the Nasca Lines. Long day but so fun. Long ride home. Thanks Felipe.

Amazing Tour Company - Great Trip! - Overall great experience! Very timely pick up and they offered to stop along the way to the excursions if we needed the restroom or wanted to buy additional waters and snacks. We had Aoura as our tour guide and she was great and knowledgeable. Claudio was our fantastic driver!
Unfortunately due to heavy winds our Nazca tour was cancelled (this is VERY rare) but the tour company was amazing with assisting us and rescheduled the tour the next day inclusive of transportation. They made an unfortunate situation a lot better and could not have been happier with the customer service responsiveness and the professionalism of their employees. Would 10/10 recommend this tour if you want a 1-day desert experience from Lima!

Charming and unforgettable - Excellent tour! Except it's not cheap, but it's worth it. We were picked up on time at the hotel and we followed silver the first destination, which was the Oasis. The journey is long, but the car was very comfortable and passed up that fast. Although not the biggest attraction of the tour, the Oasis is quite cool and the sandboard and buggy ride are fun. We have lunch at the vineyard and we continue to the flight over the lines of Nasca which are charming. We loved the walk. Special thanks to Guia Ronald and driver Carlos.

Great day full of adventures! - What a wonderful day start to finish with my new BFFs, Ronald and Wilton! Communication by the company prior to the excursion was very good with suggestions and prompt responses to my questions. Tour guide, Ronald, and driver, Wilton, were on time. The vehicle was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. We were provided water and helped in and out of the vehicle. Every effort was made to ensure our comfort. Driver was very safe. Our first stop was the oasis for a sand dune buggy ride. The buggy picked us up right at our vehicle. Ronald provided information about the area and ensure we were comfortable with the speed of the ride. The private tour made sure we were comfortable. The buggy driver was very good and safe. I (at 77 years old) did the sand dune board riding. What a kick!! Once again my safety and comfort were attended to. Ronald our guide took many photos through out the day which made things even more memorable. I highly recommend doing the dune ride and boarding! After lunch and the mandatory pisco tasting 😝 ( although we had so much fun doing this as Ronald and Wilton were adorable and so funny). We headed to the Airport to see the Nasca Lines. Ronald did a great job of providing historical context the the Lines so we could understand and appreciate what we were seeing. The small plane ensures everyone has a window seat and the pilot explains the Lines and turns so everyone has an equal opportunity to fully see the sites. The ride is long and rough (1.5 hours of turbulence and turning) so I wish I had taken Dramamine as it was tough. A bit of time for souvenir shopping at the airport then back to the hotel. What a delightful day…great sites enhanced by a wonderful tour guide, Ronald, and driver, Wilton. Highly recommend this tour, company, guide, and driver!

Great tour from Lima - Ron my tour guide and Carlos my driver did a great job taking me on this tour which included a drive to Pisco and Ica along with a wine tour, flight over the Nazca lines and a dune buggy adventure. Ron was a great tour guide sharing a tremendous amount of info on Peru’s history and geology

Great guide, great tour. A bite-size tour about the Peruvian history and culture! - It's a long and busy day, but definitely worth every second. The Nazca Lines are breathtaking... So intriguing and amazing. It can get tricky to spot all of the lines, but there is a leaflet you can follow to guide you and the pilots will point out the figures your should be looking at. The plane journey is safe and the only real way of appreciating the work done by the ancient civilisation of the Incas (if you believe that theory).
The trip to the desert and the Oasis is an adrenaline rush. It's great to go on the sand buggies and to experiment sand boarding. It's so peaceful and nice at the desert, away from the busy cities of Peru.
Finally, ending the tour with a nice meal and a wine/pisco tour is just the perfect conclusion forna great day.
Our guide, Felipe, was amazing. So knowledgeable, went above and beyond with the details and explanations he provided us. Made the whole tour 100 times better. And our driver, Carlos, was great too. Made us waste no time and always in a safe way.
This is a tour that definitely needs to be done, if you want to get a taste of the Peruvian culture and get a sense of the different geography you can find in the country.
