Sri Lanka Tour - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - We had an amazing trip and tour of Sri Lanka with Mahaweli Tours booked through Flamingo Sweden. Our guide Janaka was very friendly, cheerful and helpful with everything and always made sure to give us the most authentic experience also catering for our needs and wishes and making good detours and additional sights and activities along the way (like bathing in a waterfall, high tea at grand hotel …). Having a personal guide and driver who brings you to the hotels and sights very convenient and also feels very safe and gives great insights and aloes for good accomodation of alternate and additional activities. The hotels were all clean and comfortable and of good standard. The tour comprises key locations you need to see when you’re in Sri Lanka in a fast paced format. Our personals highlight was visiting the Sigirya/Lions rock, Minereya elephant safari and Yalla national reserve where we spotted leopards, but all parts of the program where really good and high standard, the train trip was amazing. Overall, we would definitely recommend travelling with Mahaweli Tours and be guided by Janaka!

More than just a journey..... - It's now two weeks since we returned from a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka and it's time to review the trip on behalf of our group. We booked with Flamingo Urlaub in Germany and the trip was organised locally by Mahaweli Tours & Holidays. Even at the time of booking, individual wishes were lovingly catered for. After all, two families travelling from different regions of Germany had to be brought together. Everything worked out perfectly. On site, we were looked after by a wonderful, very experienced and knowledgeable tour guide (Riyancy) and an excellent coach driver (Chathura). In this way, we were introduced to this fascinating country in a wonderful way. Within a short space of time, a friendly relationship developed between us, which continued even after the end of the trip. We can absolutely recommend the travel company, the itinerary and the tour guide. Thumbs up, we are thrilled. 2 families from Thuringia and Bavaria

Magic Sri Lanka with Dushan - It has simply been the best trip to Sri Lanka and I have felt safe all the way. From when Dushan picked us up at the airport to when he handed us over at each hotel and picked us up again. The service at Dushan is more than top. He had to every day more than a bottle of fresh water in the car for us. There was internet in the car that you could use, which was so lovely. Dushan was also really good at telling and knew a lot about Sri Lanka. The planned program was perfectly suitable and we could adapt ourselves if we wanted more and he was also really good at coming up with other suggestions. He only wanted us the best. Every time we checked in at the hotel, we had to write when we had come up to the room if everything was okay, before then, he didn't drive from the hotel. He would always drive us in the evening if we wanted down and eat dinner, so until we didn't have to go, and we could and should always write if there was the least:)

Great week - My friend and I had the pleasure of having Dushan as driver and guide. He was really good at telling and teaching us things about the country that we didn't know. We had the pleasure of driving around with him for a week, where we experienced a lot of different things. National park, city walks, temples, sights, and many other things. In addition, he was also good at finding other things we could experience, which were more local things, where we could really see things that were really Sri Lankan like; local markets, silk factory, we picked tea and saw how it was produced and many other things! He stopped up to show us the various animals and fruits that we saw on our way. He was really good at telling about what we saw while driving, and general things about the country. We had fixed things on the program, but besides this, he had lots of ideas for what else we could visit and had a lot of recommendations. We saw several places we hadn't heard of before. We felt safe as we could always get in touch with him and he always offered to drive us, pick us up etc. All agreements were complied with and we always got off in good time so we got a lot out of the day. He was good at asking if you were missing anything like water, if you were hungry, if you were going to the toilet, if you were to raise money. Great Recommendation! Great trip. Beautiful Sri Lanka trip - We spent two weeks with Flamingo Tours on Sri Lanka and are thrilled! Thanks to our great guide Riyancy and our driver Chathura we had an unforgettable time. Both were very friendly & helpful and have grown very close to our hearts. Riyancy showed us the most beautiful places of Sri Lanka – nature, temples, cities and safari. It was a fantastic trip with wonderful people.

Roundtrip in Sri Lanka - Just Beautiful - My husbsnd and I had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka. Our driver and Guide Amila took us around in Sri Lanka from Negombo to Galle, Yala Nationalpark on Safari, than to Ella, train from Ella to Nanu Oya, Kandy, Dambulla, Sigirya and finally to Passhikuda were we stayed for 6 more days to relax at the Beach. Amila was great he took us everywhere we wanted, he suggested places to See which were Not in our plan, took us to very good Restaurants, stopped for every fotostop and gave us many Information about his Country. We appreciated this very much. On top he is a very good driver and always on time. We highly recommend Mahweli Tours and specially Amila. Thanks also to Mr. Prasad for taking care of our Trip to Tricomalee and the Transfers.

The tour comprises every important location that you need to see when you’re in Sri Lanka. Also, the amount of time spent at the different locations was appropriate and scheduled well. Our personal highlight was visiting the Nine Arch Bridge and Adam’s Peak in Ella. Overall, we would definitely recommend travelling with Mahaweli Tours!

A good family tour - It was a wonderful holiday experience, the whole family enjoyed the tour. We loved the Dambulla/sigiriya village tour it was one of a kind and bentota beach, we can keep on saying about the lovely locations. Thanks to Pradeep our guide whome we all felt more of a friend to all of us and the safety and concern by the whole team. Mahaweli Tours we will be back again 😀
