A magnificent discovery! - Six of us left for 15 days to discover this magnificent country. On the first part of the trip Lahiru accompanied and guided us. Beyond the organization of the tour (which included the essential things to see for a first visit to Sri Lanka) we spent a wonderful week with Lahiru. A very kind, funny man, good advice, always with a smile and who drives carefully! I highly recommend you use his services. The 6 of us left for 15 days to discover this magnificent country. On the first part of the trip, Lahiru accompanied and guided us. SanDO anything - From Day 1 Sandun was professional, friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Sandun went above and beyond for us - even getting us avocado toast during off season and saving us money on our hotels. Sandun was never pushy and allowed us to control what we did whilst providing helpful suggestions and tips. Sandun made sure we were looked after by everyone we met (He also was a great photographer and Phase-10 card game player)

Trip around Sri Lanka - My friends and I spent two weeks travelling around with Garvindu as our driver. We could not recommend him highly enough. Gavindu was very friendly, attentive to our needs and was always willing to recommend places to visit and eat at. He would answer any questions or find out the answers. He was gentle but enjoyed a laugh with his “three Australian teachers” Thank you Garvi for a wonderful trip. 😁

Amazing holiday with the best driver - We were welcomed by Lahiru's colleage Ravi. He picked us up from the airport, really early in the morning. He drove us through the whole country. We went from Negombo to Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, Dambulla, Kandy, Nuwura Eliya, Ella, Uduwalawe, Tissamaharama (Yala), Mirissa, Galle and Colombo. On the way, he regularly bought us water and fruits for us to try. He was very kind and caring. He always asked if we had eaten breakfast/lunch/dinner. We had our own itinerary, but he gave some suggestions to make it even better. He also helped us booking hotels, tours and gave suggestions for sightseeing. One of our phones died during the tour and he even helped us getting it fixed. He let us have our privacy, but he was there anytime we needed him. He was literally one text away and was very punctual. We never had to wait. We had a great holiday and we loved travelling in Sri Lanka with TravelnLanka. We would totally recommend!

5 out of 5! Incredible Trip - One of the best holiday’s I have ever been on! From the moment we contacted Lahiru, he was attentive and informative. From the minute he collected us from the airport to the last day he made sure every single day was memorable. From the little flowers in the car rides to spotting animals and local cuisine on the drives, he was an absolute gem! We had an action packed itinerary including seeing elephants, incredible views, local villages and so much more. I don't always do reviews but our holiday in Sri Lanka was made 100x better by using TravelnLanka. He was very accommodating to the things we wanted to do and planned a whole trip for us. Exceptional Driver & Tour Guide and an unforgettable Journey - We just returned from an unforgettable 14-day tour guided by the expertise of Lahiru. We contacted Travelnlanka on WhatsApp and a group was created, from then Lahiru remained in contact with us right the way through to our arrival in Sri Lanka, and he was always happy to answer all our questions. Lahiru warmly welcomed us at the airport, where our tour began. We were always very safely driven in a comfortable, clean, air-conditioned vehicle. As first-time visitors to Sri Lanka, we didn’t really know where to start with destinations, so Lahiru had put together a well-thought-out itinerary that balanced sightseeing, breaks, and exploration time perfectly. He ensured that we experienced the usual tourist highlights while also uncovering hidden gems that were sometimes off the beaten path. Lahiru’s attention to detail (like the beautiful flowers he placed for us each day) and ability to manage our needs made the entire journey fun, smooth and hassle-free. Our tour took us to Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Mirissa, Galle, Negombo… and so many places in between! We experienced ancient cities, Hindu temples, cave temples, Buddha statues, snorkeling, rock climbing, jeep safari, traditional village tour, riverboat trips, tuk-tuk rides, cultural dance shows, swimming in waterfalls, and watched some locals do stick fishing. We also enjoyed the fantastic train ride from Nanuoya to Ella (Lahiru booked our tickets in advance – 3rd class is a must!) and walked along the nine-arch bridge. We also had an amazing experience releasing baby sea turtles into the ocean. So so many highlights that it’s impossible to list them all! Your driver/tour guide becomes so much more as they teach you along the way about Sri Lankan wildlife, flowers, history, culture, landscape, food, etc. We'd often pull over to the side of the road so Lahiru could show us something interesting or an incredible viewpoint, (and sometimes so we can feed the street dogs!). We also stopped along the way to try local delicacies such as curd & treacle, and king coconuts. We really got to experience so much more than we would have done without him. Finally, I must say that Lahiru demonstrated such genuine care for our comfort and satisfaction and went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests or needs (including a trip to the dentist!), always ensuring that everyone felt safe and well taken care of (he even carried our rucksack on the rock climbs). Lahiru is 100% reliable, so friendly, respectful and polite, knowledgeable, very funny, and his professionalism and love for his job were apparent throughout our trip together. I cannot recommend Travelnlanka highly enough. If you are looking to be guided around this beautiful Island, choose this fantastic company and you will be rewarded with an enriching, enlightening, and truly unforgettable adventure. Holiday of a lifetime ❤️ - We have just returned from a 10 day tour with travelnlanka, and it was the absolute holiday of a lifetime . Lahiru managed to fit me in at very short notice , and he was in contact with me via watsapp before we flew out , answering my 1000s of questions , giving me advice on hotels , nothing was ever too much trouble for him . From the moment we met at the airport we were greeted with sea shell necklaces , and had flowers and a beautiful bowl of local fruits waiting in the car for us . We visited Kandy, nuwara eliya,Ella ,yala, mirissa and Negombo . We visited elephant orphanages, watched cultural dances , temples , swam in waterfalls , went on a tea plantation Safari , hung out of doors on the famous train ride , viewed the famous 9 arch bridge , had a beautiful massage , hiked little Adams peak , went on Safari and saw the beautiful leopards and elephants , watched killer whales in their natural habitat , and released baby turtles into the wild . We did so much travelling and lahiru made it so fun , always stopping off on the way to visit things . Show us viewpoints , and share so many stories about his home country . He recommended the most beautiful restaurants to us . He even paid out of his own pocket for us to try local street food and king coconuts . He was ready every morning with a smile on his face , cleaned car and flowers on the seats . He totally worked around us and was always happy to make suggestions .He arranged all our tours for us , and made sure we had the best experiences . It was like being on holiday with a friend . Amazing Experience in Sri Lanka - March-April 2023 (20 days tour) Our tour started in Negombo and then Habarana-Kandy-Nuwara Eliya-by train to Ella-Tissamaharama-Udawalawe-Yala-Tangalle-Unawatuna and back to airport. Thanks to Lahiru was our holiday PERFECT. He is very kind, attentive, friendly, punctual and has a lot of knowledge about the local things and his country. During our tour of 3 weeks we became friends and our son of 5 years old misses him already. For us it was a new experience because normally we rent a car and drive ourselves but after this adventure ... Why you should rent a car? His prices are very accurate and the quality of your trip will be increased a few levels. He respects your privacy but when you need him, he will be there for you to help. We made a complete tour+hotels ourselves , so we had an itinerary. But if you don't, ask him and he will help. If you want to eat or drink something, He knows the good places. I can't say any negative, he is such a beautiful person.

Amazing 10 day trip - best experience - Lahiru is one of the kindest and most friendly souls, I've ever met. It's been my third and my best friend's first time in Sri Lanka. During one of my earlier trips, I was lucky that Lahiru could drive my boyfriend and me from Negombo to Weligama. Even during this short trip, his calm and very responsible driving, his deep and interesting knowledge on Sri Lanka resonated well with us. This is why we've reached out and consider ourselves to get Lahiru as our Tour Guide. When picking us up from the airport, we were greeted with sea-shell neglaces and Lahiru drove us to Habarana. For our first full day in Sri Lanka, Lahiru organized for a Jeep Safari in one of the national parks. We enjoyed this a lot and saw lots of elephants. We were at the spot early, before many other cars showed up. So Lahirus timing was just perfect. On our second day we went for a small hike up a hill with perfect view on Sigyria. We wouldn't have known about this opportunity and would have joined hundreds of tourist flocking up Sigyria if it wasn't for Lahiru. After the hike Lahiru organized a nice village tour for us, with a local cooking class, boat and carriage ride. The next two days we spent in Kandy, where Lahiru gave us a nice tour through the tooth temple and recommended the Botanical Gardens to us, which we enjoyed a lot. For our next stay in Ella, Lahiru dropped us at a train station, arranged train tickets and saw us into the train. On the way to the train station my friend got car-sick (she does that rather often) and Lahiru gave his very best to drive even more gentle and avoid any abrupt movements. We appreciated that a lot. We enjoyed the scenic ride a lot, yet we were extremely happy to get back into his comfortable car in Ella. In Ella we did little hikes and explored the nine arche bridge. Ella was very scenic and extremely nice with regards to the climate. Our last longer stay was in Weligama, where Lahiru brought us to our hotel and picked us up again after we spent 3 days there, surfing and relaxing in the sun. Lahiru made our trip very special with sharing lots of interesting insights on Sri Lankas history, recent past and current situation. We could not have wished for a better experience - Lahiru is by far the best tour guide we ever had!
