Sigiriya to Kandy

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Start the day with an early morning climb of Sigiriya Rock, ideal for photos and climbing before the sun gets too hot, then return to the hotel for breakfast.

Kandy - Continue the journey to Kandy, visiting Nalanda Gedige, Mathale Spice Garden (for a visit only), Gem Museum and Workshop, and a Hindu temple, followed by a Kandy city tour.

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kandyan Cultural Dance Performance and visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Overnight stay in Kandy. Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

Royal Botanic Gardens Peradeniya Kandy - After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens in Kandy.

Nuwara Eliya - Continue to Nuwara Eliya, stopping at Ramboda Falls, a Tea Plantation, and a Tea Factory, followed by a Nuwara Eliya City Tour. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya to Ella

Gregory Lake - After breakfast, visit Gregory Lake and Victoria Park Garden.

Victoria Park of Nuwara Eliya - Explore Victoria Park Garden.

Ella - Take the scenic 12:40 train ride to Ella. Please note that during peak season, there is only a 50% chance of securing train tickets due to high demand, and ticket availability can only be confirmed one day prior. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

Little Adam’s Peak View Point - In the evening, climb Little Adam’s Peak in Ella. Overnight stay in Ella. Highlights of the day include Gregory Lake, Victoria Park Garden, the train ride to Ella, and Little Adam’s Peak in Ella.

Ella to Tissamaharama / Visit Yala National Park or Udawalawe National Park

Buduruwagala Temple - After breakfast, travel to Tissamaharama, visiting Rawana Waterfall and Buduruwagala Rock Temple along the way.

Yala National Park - In the evening, choose between an exciting safari at Yala National Park or Udawalawe National Park. Overnight stay in Tissamaharama. Please note that the Jeep Safari and entrance fee are not included.

Tissamaharama to Mirissa

Mirissa - After breakfast, drive to Mirissa, visiting a snake farm along the way. Enjoy leisure time at the beach resort in the evening. Overnight stay in Mirissa. Highlights of the day include the snake farm and leisure time at the beach resort.

Mirissa Beach - Embark on a whale-watching tour from Mirissa at 6:30 in the morning.

Coconut Tree Hill - Return to the hotel for the night before heading to Parrot Rock. Later, watch the stunning sunset over Coconut Tree Hill. Overnight stay at Mirissa Hotel. Highlights of the day include blue whale watching, Parrot Rock, and the sunset over Coconut Tree Hill.

Time to Say Bye

Colombo - Enjoy a freshly-prepared breakfast at the hotel, then prepare to check out as it’s time to say ‘Goodbye’ to Sri Lanka. You will be transferred to Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo or Negombo for your onward journey home.

Bentota - Depending on your flight time, visit the Sea Turtle Hatchery & Rescue Centre, Galle Dutch Fort, and the Madu River Boat Safari on the way to the airport. Please note that the boat ride and entrance are not included in the package.
