Airport – Negombo

Negombo Lagoon - Upon arrival, the chauffeur will transfer guests to the hotel in Negombo. If time permits, with the chauffeur’s assistance, guests can explore Negombo. Visit the fish market and St. Mary’s Church, among many other churches. Enjoy a boat trip in the natural Negombo Lagoon, home to herons and various bird species. Savor local fruits on the lagoon island and, if interested, feed the monkeys. Overnight stay at a hotel in Negombo.

Negombo – Wilpattu – Anuradhapura

Wilpattu National Park - After breakfast, embark on a journey to Wilpattu National Park. Upon arrival, have lunch and begin a safari into the jungle. Depart the national park before 6 PM and proceed to a hotel in Anuradhapura for an overnight stay.

Anuradhapura - Habarana

Golden Temple of Dambulla - After breakfast, explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura and then travel to Habarana. In the afternoon, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. Check into a hotel in Habarana for the night.

Habarana

Kaudulla National Park - Enjoy a morning safari in Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park, where hundreds of elephants and various bird species can be seen. In the evening, visit Lion’s Rock in Sigiriya. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Habarana – Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya - After breakfast, embark on a long journey to Nuwara Eliya. After visiting Kandy, explore the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. Continue to Ramboda to visit a tea factory and estate, followed by the Ramboda Waterfall. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, explore the area, and check into the hotel for the night.

Horton Plains National Park - Depart early morning for Horton Plains National Park with a packed breakfast. Discover the diverse birdlife, including endemic species to Sri Lanka. The biodiversity of Horton Plains offers excellent photo opportunities. On the way back to Nuwara Eliya, enjoy a boat ride on a lake for bird watching. Visit Moonplains and check into the hotel in the evening for leisure.

Nuwara Eliya – Ella – Yala National Park

Tissa Wewa - After breakfast, take a train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella on the tea train. Upon arrival in Ella, drive to Tissamaharama. Enjoy a scenic boat ride on Tissa Lake, home to numerous birds and nearly all types of herons in Sri Lanka. Check into a hotel there for the night.

Yala National Park - Embark on a full-day safari to Yala National Park. Check into the hotel in the evening.

Tissamaharama – Sinharaja

Sinharaja Forest Reserve - After breakfast, embark on a long journey to Sri Lanka’s largest rainforest. The journey takes about 4 hours. Check into the hotel and capture images of birds around the Sinharaja area. Overnight stay at the same hotel.

Sinharaja Rain Forest

Sinharaja Forest Entrance - Spend the entire day exploring the Sinharaja Rainforest. In the evening, check into the hotel for the night.

Sinharaja – Rathnapura – Negombo

Ratnapura - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Negombo, passing through Ratnapura. Stop in Ratnapura to visit a gem mine and observe the mining and gem-finding process. Upon reaching Negombo, check into the hotel and relax.

Muthurajawela Excursion

Muthurajawela Marsh - Enjoy a day excursion to the Muthurajawela Wetland, a prime location for wetland photography in Sri Lanka. Many bird species can be observed here. Conclude the day with a seafood dinner at a local restaurant. Return to the same hotel for the night.

Negombo - Airport

Negombo Fish Market - Visit the Negombo Fish Market and, depending on flight time, check out and proceed to the airport for departure.
