Slice of Paradise - My wife and I have been to Negril many times but we had never been to the little island Booby Cay. I must say, we have been missing out! From the tranquility of the island to the rum punch, to the hospitality, I highly recommend this tour.
If you are staying in Mobay, I suggest you take the time to experience a slice of paradise, get out of the city, and book this tour. Life Livery Tours gave us a great experience, and our driver was very knowledgeable. He gave us the complete history of every town we drove through, and my wife and I left knowing more about Jamaica than we had previously known.
Jamaica No Problem!

Amazing Day with Kenny and Life Livery Tours! - My family and I have traveled to Jamaica several times, and we wanted to do something different than the typical resort activities. After speaking with friends on potential sites to see, we researched potential tour companies via TripAdvisor and are happy we stumbled upon and selected Life Livery Tours, LLC; we selected the the Day trip to Negril w/stops at Booby Cay, Margaritaville, and Rick's cafe.
Our tour guide/driver for the day was a charming gentleman named Kenny and he was absolutely fantastic. Kenny arrived at our hotel 10 minutes early and greeted us like we had known him for years. Immediately at pick up he supplied my family and I with some light drinks for the trip ahead to Negril. Along our journey, Kenny gave a great tour discussing the history of the various towns - from Montego Bay and Lucea to Negril. And while I've been to Negril several times, the tidbits of information that Kenny shared helped to illuminate our experience and educated my family and I on the interesting history of this part of Jamaica.
As we were approaching Margaritaville, Kenny shared with us the itinerary for the Booby Cay part of our excursion and also alerted us to his fellow countrymen who may try to sell us different things as we waited for our boat to Booby Cay. Although, I was very familiar and I have been comfortable with individuals approaching to sell us various items and beach experiences, I still appreciated the heads up from Kenny. Within a few minutes from arriving to Margaritaville, our large motor boat arrived to take us to Booby Cay. The boat crew was very accommodating and helped all of my family members - including my 80 year old mother - on to the boat.
After a short 10 - 15 minute boat ride, we finally arrived to this little island called Booby Cay. As we approached, we saw a few other boats there that had transported other tourists. Upon arriving, Kenny supplied my wife and I with the best Rum punch that we've ever tasted -- definitely used a good white rum instead of a brown rum:). Kenny than gave us the lay of the land and told us we could relax and enjoy the water while our lunch - which was included in our package - was being prepared. For lunch, we selected lobster and it was really good; we ate on picnic tables on the beach.
We left Booby Caye and returned to shore to begin the final phase of our excursion - a short trip to Rick's Cafe. Like at the beginning of our trip, Kenny shared with us various tidbits about Negril, which were very interesting. When we arrived to Rick's, we let Kenny know that while the site was beautiful, we were a little tired and probably weren't going to stay too long after getting our kids a small snack. Kenny completely understood and told us he'd be waiting nearby.
On the way back, Kenny probably shared additional tidbits, but we were all knocked out from the long day -- and the great rum punch, so can't share too much on our return trip back to our hotel. But, I will say that we returned safe and sound and will definitely be recommending this excursion and tour company for other folks who want to see other parts of Jamaica and to be led by a genuine kind hearted man who relishes the opportunity to share his magical country with others.
Thanks again!

Awesome time - This is an excellent service and a great way to see some of the coastline in Jamaica with the people who know it best and the adventurers. When in Montego Bay, check them out and go for the boat ride with friends/family or solo. Tons of fun.

Be Aware! Do not use Life Livery Tours LLC - WARNING: Please do not use Life Livery Tours LLC.
This was our experience and my apologies for the long review.
On this private trip we were supposed to be picked up by 9:00am, but we were picked up late at 11:00am. They were to drive us to Negril (about 2 hr drive) and spend the day, ending with sunset at Rick’s Cafe. Well all of that was far from the truth. We were back to the hotel around 9:30pm extremely crushed, heart broken and dissatisfied with what we had experienced, and the worst part is that we had to ride back with a very unprofessional person for 2 hours back to Montego Bay.
First stop at Bobby Cay we had four beers (we were told $5 a beer) and somehow the bill was 60 dollars, we asked and they brushed us off rudely (we did see Kenny our driver kept grabbing beers, but we didn’t think much about it at the time). On the trip it was advertised that beer, rum and water was included with the lobster meal. As the trip went on, other activities that we did not end up doing such as swim, snorkel, walk on Seven Mile beach, nor we visited Woodstock or Margaritaville as advertised on this trip. After about an 1 1/2 at Bobby Cay, Kenny took us to buy spices at a local market in Negril, something that he offered. He took us to a small grocery store same area as Rick’s Cafe, we spent there about 15 mins, and here he helped himself by adding a large coconut water to our grocery cart at check out without asking. My husband and I looked at him like what are you doing then he said “It’s complementary for bringing you to the store”. We felt that he was being pushy and asked him when we would get a chance to do the snorkeling at Seven Mile beach and visit Margaritaville, since literally we had just passed them on the same road. We were hoping to grab a meal at Margaritaville. This was around 4:00pm, he told us to not worry that he would take care of us. He took us to Rick’s Cafe shortly after the grocery store, got there around 4:05pm and we told him it was a long wait for sunset which he said it was ok. The waiter came we ordered our drinks then Kenny again helped himself to order a Red Stripe beer. We felt stuck to this guy at this point. We were confused and thought Seven Mile swim was after sunset, we still had faith that Kenny would finish the trip as he said. So an hour into Rick’s Cafe Kenny wanted to leave and my husband told him no that we would finish sunset as advertised. My husband had already told me that he knew that Kenny would not take us to do the rest of the trip, judging by the time and to just enjoy the sunset and the time we had left. Again shortly after 6:05pm as the sun was beginning to set, Kenny rushed us up and out of Rick’s cafe and pointed at his watch that he had allowed us to stay longer. My husband again reminded him as advertised “end the evening watching the most spectacular sunset in the world”. Kenny looked extremely upset shaking his head and told us it was time to go and walked away. We didn’t get to finish sunset! He yelled at my husband and said pay now. Kenny said that it was a long drive back for him that he needed to go, so he had allowed us to stay longer at Rick’s….something that we never asked to go to Rick’s earlier. We told him we needed to use the bathroom something that clearly annoyed him as well. We also noticed Kenny had included additional alcoholic drinks to our tap at Rick’s cafe, he didn’t even asked us which I though it was extremely unprofessional….at Rick’s he had 3 beers here (that we know of). He said drinks were complementary for him for driving us. We walked out of Rick’s Cafe as the sun was setting, hungry and upset! On the drive back, he kept wanting to argue telling us that it was time to go. My husband had to tell him multiple times that it was enough and to stop arguing about it, that the trip was not enjoyable and just to take us back to the hotel. Kenny also made a stop on the way back to buy himself a snack.
We contacted the company and explained all in more detailed and asked for a refund but they said that their tours were customizable as Kenny did when he took us to the grocery store! No where on the description says that is customizable. Be aware of the ways they can switch up a story and take advantage. This trip was not enjoyable, it was rushed for no reason and a lot of waiting around due to him being late or random stops. This is a total bad representation of Jamaica! At the start of the trip he picked us up two hours late and miss the bigger boat that would have taken us to Bobby Cay Island. Also on the way to Negril he made 3 stops because he said his phone wasn’t working and had to find a place to buy minutes for his phone to call the boat guy because we were late. I offered for him to use my phone. So there was a lot of waiting around and already behind leaving our hotel in Montego Bay. To add that his driving was so horrible and unsafe! To top it all off he was drinking red stripe beer while driving on our way back from Negril to the hotel in Montego Bay.
This trip by this company has great reviews, I wouldn’t trust them.
