Activities include exploring secluded pristine bays and beaches, birdlife, snorkel beautiful fringing reefs, reef education with Master Reef Guides, interactions with fish “friends”, and marine life - whales (July to Sept), stories and indigenous history all in the one tour. Stand Up Paddle boards, floating pontoon to sit on and relax. Enjoy a morning tea on a secluded beach and connect with the special places we explore on Magnetic Islands iconic and stunning coastline.
Morning tea and all equipment for activities is provided for you.
Snorkel tuition is provided in a safe and caring environment.

Great girls trip! - This is so much more than just a snorkeling trip - we were told interesting bits of history on the way and even a detour to see the whales as the opportunity presented itself. The wetsuits were a great addition in August and all the equipment was high quality. Morning tea was delicious and there was plenty of it. The staff were all very helpful and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. I will definitely come back again with the family as it would also be great fun for young kids

A Great Half Day - We had a fabulous time, despite the less than ideal conditions. A super half day, whether partaking in the snorkelling or not, leaving the rest of the day to explore the island.

Great way to get to know Magnetic Island - We had a wonderful time on the boat tour round Maggie Island, hearing about its history and natural history, snorkelling at a couple of reefs and especially seeing 4 humpback whales, two pretty close up. Great morning tea on the beach at one of the snorkelling spots. Well--informed, friendly crew. Thanks very much.

A must do on the island!! - Calvin and Amy were amazing! We are so glad we went on this tour, and we got to see so many whales on our way to snorkel! A magical experience that we will never forget!

Absolute standout holiday trip - One of the highlights of my trip. The staff were so helpful and their knowledge of the environment and consideration of all passengers was beyond great. Seeing the whales was a standout. Not only did I have a great day, with a lovely morning tea on an isolated beach, we received fabulous photos taken by the drone during the day. Thankyou to Adam and his fantastic team. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

A voyage of discovery.. Scenery, Marine Life, Coral Garden. - A fabulous excursion run by a very friendly and professional crew. The encounter with the whales was amazing. Can thoroughly recommend this tour if visiting Magnetic Island.

Whales! - We had a wonderful time, couldn’t have asked for a more special experience. We saw whales which was the highlight. The hosts were very knowledgeable and nothing was too much bother for them. It was great to see the genuine pleasure of the crew

Essential Maggie Tour - Excellent snorkeling, whale watching and educational tour. Adam, Jan and Toby were organised, flexible and knowledgeable. We saw some whales with a calf, visited a few bays and snorkelled at Florence Bay ( best spot on Maggie) and Whiting Bay. Morning tea was a diverse yummy fruit platter (vegan friendly) and banana bread and chocolate. Hot drinks were served too. Snorkel masks, fins and wetsuits provided and good quality. Highly recommended and can understand their high rating

Fantastic way to explore Maggie - We had a fantastic day out on the water with Toby and Jack. You can tell they are passionate and knowledgeable and enjoy what they do. They offered every flotation device you can imagine, as well as wetsuits for those who were cold. They catered to everyone’s needs. Morning tea was a welcome treat too. It was a great way to see the island and enjoy some snorkelling of beautiful bays around Maggie. Thanks again! Ash and Aaron

The most magical day! - What an incredible day we had on the discovery tour! After the recent rain our day was glorious. We came away with so much information of the reef and island to go home and do further research on. Our guides Jan and Jack were so friendly and their knowledge of the reef and history of the island was exceptional. This trip is absolutely worth the price point.
