Excellent tour of island - The tour was very interesting and the local knowledge and humour that Tim passed on to us was fantastic. We saw beautiful views and then had time to dine at various restaurants. Price was great value for money and we included the ferry ticket which was at a discounted rate.

This tour was a highlight of our Queensland road trip - We had the opportunity to book this amazing tour. Tim was our expert guide, a totally amazing guy full of knowledgeable information. He obviously cares 100% about Maggie island’s environment, history and all the animals that live there. We had the opportunity to meet his daughter Izzy , who has inherited his life message and ethics. We spent 2 months in Australia, and our trip and tour with this company was one of our best highlights of our 1500 mile road trip in Queensland. If we didn’t live 12000 miles away I would be booking again. Thank you for a great day

Had a wonderful trip.... - Had a wonderful trip. Neil was so knowledgeable about the island and it’s history We left the tour at Horseshoe Bay as the girls wanted to swim and spend time on the beach. Neil was helpful in explaining how we could get back to the Sealink Terminal. Nothing was too much trouble for him. A great tour - highly recommend

Magnetic Island Tour - just amazing! - This was my first time back since 1966, so you can imagine my surprise when we arrived to see how much this Island had developed without disturbing the natural habitat. Our driver was Tim, a long time resident of "Maggie" who was so informative along the way. We stopped at Picnic Bay for morning tea which gave us a chance to get to know our group. A walk out on the jetty to take photos and loo stop then off to the Magnetic Museum and Craft Centre - well worth a visit. As we travelled around the different beaches (magnificent views) and stopped for lunch at Horseshoe Bay, Tim spoke of Maggie, it's first inhabitants, Capt. Cook, it being a quarantine station for a short time in the late 1800's and it's development through the years, covering how the residents (both human and animal) coped during the cyclones, children and schooling. We saw rock wallabies and koalas. Did you know that the koalas on Magnetic Island are smaller than the Victorian koalas due to the type of Eucalyptus they eat. We met a couple at the terminal who were attending a wedding and there were golfers "in banana costumes" on the ferry. I'd recommend you have a fun day and do this 5 hour tour.

Fun and educational tour. Our guide was fantastic! - We had a great time on this tour - Neil went out of his way to make this a memorable visit. He provided a lot of information about the history of Magnetic Island, and explained some of the conservation efforts that will ensure it remains a special place. We also saw a lot of the wildlife that calls the island home, Koala Bears, Wallabys, butterflies, and a green ant nest!
