- Pilgrim Magnetic Island - After boarding the bus at Nelly Bay terminal you will meet your friendly local guide who will escort you throughout the day. Our guides are all locals, with a depth of knowledge about life on the island.
After a brief introduction you will make your way through Nelly Bay to the western side of the island. On the way you’ll get some background facts on the island and an introduction to the geography and fauna.

A mature and highly-regarded local guide will provide friendly, entertaining commentary on hundreds of topics covering birds and wildlife, trees, geology, history and folklore on your 5 hour tour of the scenic roads and byways of the beautiful Magnetic Island. Departing Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal you’ll visit all the major sights, including one or two secret spots some locals don’t even know about. We finish with an hours free time in Horseshoe bay for lunch you.

The best way to see the highlights of Magnetic Island - A great way to see the highlights of Magnetic Island and the very informative commentary provides interesting local knowledge. Good morning tea provided by the water at Picnic Bay.

The best tour of Maggie Island - This tour was probably the best on our 3 week road trip. It was relaxed, and Tim was the best guide, with incomparable knowledge of Maggie Island. Everyone on our trip commented how good it was. Yes we fed rock wallabies, yes we saw koalas in the wild, and yes we saw a green ant nest ( Tim pointed that one out, as we would have missed it). Brekkie, lunch and a humorous commentary were all provided, a excellent day out!

Introduction to Magnetic Island - The tour was fantastic my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Took lots of photos and met some amazing fauna along the way. The tour is a wonderful introduction to Magnetic Island 🏝 and it's history. I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour. Our tour guide, Neil was very knowledgeable and entertaining 👏

Great way to learn and experience Maggie - A great snapshot of life on the island as well as some history, all done with a nice touch of humour. Neil is a great host and a mine of information. Coach was super comfortable and the pick up at Nelly Bay worked perfectly.

A MAGNETIC ISLAND MUST DO! - I am so glad we booked this tour…..we learnt so much about this wonderful island. Tim our guide who is a local of nearly 50 years was so informative and what a great character - he certainly made this tour a 10 out of 10 for us. Do yourself a favour and book a tour - you won’t regret it.

See Magnetc Island in style - We were lucky enough to have the tour all to ourselves. Neil looked after us very well, showed us all the sites and allowed us the freedom to choose parts of the program.

Such an interesting tour - Really enjoyed this tour. It was full of information which you would not get if you toured on your own. There's plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the nature. The island is small but there are loads of things to see and learn about.

10/10 would recommend - Great for families of all ages. We brought our 5 month old daughter and parents. You get to see lots with not much walking so it’s great for smaller kids or people who aren’t super mobile. A wonderful tour with an awesome tour guide. We saw wild koalas, sea turtles, osprey and rock wallabies!
