Mush ON! - Used this outfitter last year for a couple guided fishing trips, which were awesome so I hooked up with them again for a Mush trip. We were welcomed, educated and taking on a trail ride with the dogs doing the hard work! Bucket list checked off. Dogs were well behaved and the guide very well versed! Would I do it again, perhaps if I could go say on an overnight(s) trip.

Amazing - What an amazing experience. Anastasia picked us up at the hotel and was very knowledgeable and entertaining during the drive out to location. The dog team and musher were outstanding and the scenery along the trail was so beautiful. Did see one moose along the way and had such a great time. Highly recommended

Unique experience - The very first thing I’d like to point out is the great customer service. From the moment of the reservation ( Sasha was really patient), to Greg who drove us to Nenana and definitely the mushers - they were so nice to me and my family - really nice and friendly people. But definitely the dogs ares the real deal - they are champions!!!

Alaska Fishing and Raft Adventures delivers dog sledding big time! - Alaska Fishing and Raft Adventures gets my highest recommendation for their dog sledding! We had a special situation arise while in Fairbanks and contacted Miklene about the dog sledding. She was able to work out an opportunity for us to participate in an afternoon trip to Goldstream Husky Sled Dog tours, and it was a high point of our trip. Andi and Sebastian were the stars of the day, and it was a special treat to interact with the dogs - who obviously couldn't wait to run! Don't hesitate to contact Alaska Fishing and Raft Adventures for their dog sledding options.

Dog Sledding Tour - AMAZING - My friends and I traveled to Alaska last month and found this tour on a whim. We are SO lucky that we did - it was one of the highlights of our trip. As soon as we arrived, Sebi greeted us with a huge smile and we immediately felt welcome. They provided warmer clothing (gloves, boots, jackets, etc.) which was great even on the sunny day. We got the chance to meet the dogs and ride around on the sleds for over an hour (which is significantly more than most other tours in the area). It was so interesting learning more about mushing and their background. After our tour, they invited us in for coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies. This team at Goldstream Husky was so personable and genuinely welcoming, it was a remarkable morning. I would strongly recommend this trip to anyone that is in the area! We would all love to come back soon.

Calling all Dog Lovers - Our VIP Dog Sledding Tour was the highlight of my trip. For any dog lover this is the chance of a lifetime to interact with dogs and then get to take part in their livelihood. We had the opportunity to harness the dogs and pet them. We loved the sledding experience and our musher, Carrie, was PHENOMENAL! She is an ex Yukon racer and gave us a lot of great information about the dog sledding world. It was a true joy to watch these dogs run and do what they love to do. And a HUGE shout out and thank you to Andy for making this possible. If it wasn’t for his beautiful piece of property, this wouldn’t be possible. And last but not least a HUGE thank you to our driver, Greg (fisherman) for getting us to Nenana from our hotel. He was a host like no other and gave us great advice for enjoying our stay in Fairbanks. THIS IS A MUST DO TRIP!

GREAT EXPERIENCE. - GREAT EXPERIENCE. The staff made sure that we were well outfitted. They gave us a great education and understanding of their operation. We loved socializing with the dogs. I DO NOT AGREE with post that the dogs were inhumanly treated and malnourished. They get three well balanced square meals per day. They had perfect physiques much like any endurance athlete. The scenery was AMAZING. We definitely got our money's worth. WE WILL RETURN.
