Pokhara Lakeside - After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up and start the drive to Pokhara. En route, enjoy views of Nepal’s countryside, including greenery, rivers, villages, farms, and beautiful mountain scenery. (A scenic 25-minute flight to Pokhara is also an option.) Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, and the five peaks of Annapurna. Known as the city of lakes, Pokhara has numerous beautiful lakes. Drive Pokhara to Beni to Tatopani (2600 m Elevation). Driving hours: 6/7 hours by 4WD Jeep - 110 KM approx.

Kali Gandaki River - Highlights of the day: After breakfast at the hotel, we start our journey to Mustang. First, we drive west to the town of Beni on a blacktop road and then follow the Kali Gandaki River. The road after Beni is off-road. The Kali Gandaki Valley is the world’s deepest gorge, between Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) and Annapurna I (8,091 m) Himalaya. Drive from Tatopani to Kagbeni (2900m) visit Muktinath Temple (3800 m). Driving hours: 5/6 hours by 4WD Jeep - 95 KM approx.

Marpha - After breakfast, drive through local villages of Kalopani and Ghasa, and explore the apple farming of Marpha Village and Jomsom local market. Cross Kagbeni village and visit the holy temple complex of Muktinath and its 108 taps dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Also, visit Jal Devi, where you can see the naturally occurring fire, the local town of Muktinath, and the Buddhist monastery in Jharkot with incredible views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Tukuche Peak. Drive to Ghami Village (3520 m) via Syngboche Pass (4200 m). Driving hours: 6 hours by 4WD Jeep - 32 KM approx.

Kagbeni - After breakfast, visit Kagbeni Monastery and Buddhist School. Before leaving Kagbeni, your guide will check your special Upper Mustang permit and start the journey to Upper Mustang. First, cross the Kaligandaki River near Chhusang village by Jeep and climb up to Chella Village, Samar Village, Syangboche village, Bhina, Ghiling, and arrive at Ghami village.

Today, enjoy amazing landscapes from Syngboche and other places. This is a private trip, so you can stop the Jeep anywhere to take pictures. Drive to Lo-Mangthang (3840 m Elevation). Driving hours: 3 hours by 4WD Jeep - 17 KM approx.

Thubchen Gompa - Visit the Mustang Lo Gager Ghar Gompa monastery, an important site in Mustang. Visit Charang monastery, Lo-Mangthang city, “Jampa Gompa” (the oldest monastery, built in the early 15th century and also known as the “God house”), “Thubchen Gompa” (a large red assembly hall and gompa built in the late 15th century), “Chodey Gompa” (the main city gompa), and the Monastic Museum. Observe domestic yaks and cattle caravans, enjoy mountain views and landscapes from the passes, and explore Buddhist schools, arts, the king’s palace, and local activities in Lo-Mangthang. Exploration day in Lo-Manthang and Chhosar.

Mustang Region - After breakfast, explore Namgyal Gompa, the sky caves of Chhoser, and the SHIJA JHONG cave of Mustang, which dates back over 3,000 years and has been excavated by archaeologists from around the world. Several other caves near Chhoser have been used for burial, meditation, and living. SKY BURIAL is still practiced in Upper Mustang, including in Chhoser and nearby villages. Drive back to Jomsom (2743 m Elevation). Driving hours: 6/7 hours by 4WD Jeep - 50 KM approx.

Drive 6 hrs to Tatopani/Beni
