Fun cooking class experience in Tokyo - We thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class and highly recommend booking with Emi if you’re visiting the Tokyo area. She is very sweet and the time spent with her was fun and informative. We’ll be trying out the recipes we learned on our own once we get home.

Fascinating experience in Emi’s home - We enjoyed our cooking class and sampling some traditional dishes, but the experience was much more than that. It was a delight meeting Emi and she shared so much about Japanese culture and language. She is very easy to communicate with, which is good for getting information about transport, for example.

Private Cooking Class - Emi was an excellent host and her recipes were delicious! Our favourite dish was the Onigiri. Emi was also helpful in directing us on how to best get to her place from our hotel in Asakusa. Highly recommend

A wonderful local cooking experience with Emi - We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking experience with Emi. It was easy to book and she had great communication with us about the class and meeting point. We selected Okonomiyaki, Tempura vegetables and Ginger pork. It was a lot of fun preparing the dishes and they were all delicious. We are looking forward to making them at home. It was also nice to meet a Tokyo local and hear about Tokyo life. At the end we visited the local supermarket with Emi and this too was a fascinating experience. We thoroughly recommend doing this cooking class with Emi. Thanks Emi.

Cooking together authentic Japanese dishes - It was a wonderful experience, we cooked together with Emi, she guided us step by step to create excellent gyoza, karaage (fried chicken) and salmon with seaweed and edamame. Then we had dinner together, talking lovingly about Japan, Italy and the anime & manga that we have always been passionate about. it was a great choice. Thank you Emi, Barbara & Ermanno

We had a really lovely evening and learned not just to prepare some traditional food, but also got an insight into customs and culture of Japanese cuisine. And the food was fabulous! A highlight of our Tokyo adventure. - We booked this at late notice and really happy we had a time slot that worked well. Communications leading up were excellent, and we had some input into what meals were cooked. Emi's english is excellent (our Japanese is almost non-existent) so we had great conversation throughout the preparation, cooking, eating and cleanup. Food was simple and excellent...one of the highlights of our trip.
