Embark on an adventure to the town of El Chaltén (National Capital of Trekking), situated 220 km from El Calafate. The journey includes crossing the Santa Cruz River and a brief stop at Estancia La Leona. The trip continues to El Chaltén, following the edge of Viedma Lake with its namesake glacier. If the weather is favorable, enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Chaltén and Mount Torre, along with the Viedma Glacier and its magnificent icebergs.
This experience is available year-round and is perfect for those who prefer a less strenuous hike. Visit the Mirador de los Cóndores, approximately 700 meters away with low difficulty, and the Chorrillo del Salto, a completely flat 300-meter walk. A guide will accompany you throughout the journey.
