Great Tour - We enjoyed the tour a lot. What you get is a private driver for 3 days and a local guide in each of the 3 cities. You can spontaneously customize the tour, they will let you do exactly what you want (spend more time somewhere, skip stuff, add breaks as needed). The guides were good, knowledgeable about their cities and didn't pressure us to visit shops and buy stuff. That last point is very important and will significantly improve the experience. Bad guides will take you to many shops trying to get you to buy as much as possible, because they get a cut of the purchase. The guides in this tour didn't put any pressure, which was great. However if you decide to go to a shop, the shop-owners will try quite hard to sell you stuff. The communication in the background between the guides, the driver and the tour operator was good as everything worked seamlessly for us. The tour operator, Aiza Tours, was responsive on WhatsApp. Whenever we had a question, they responded quickly. Our driver Papu was an excellent driver, he navigated calmly and safely through the Indian traffic. The rides between the cities take 4-5h each, but the roads are good and Papu's driving was very comfortable. He was always on time and his English was good enough to communicate whatever was needed. The car was in good condition and large enough to comfortably host 6 people (driver + guide + us four). Our first guide Palash (in Delhi) joined the tour after we were picked up at the hotel. Palash took us to Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb and the Lotus temple (plus some drive-by locations). He gave us the freedom to explore while sharing interesting facts. Palash is a smart guy, his English is good and it was easy to follow his explanations, we had a great time. Our second guide Ali (in Agra) took us on a sunrise tour of the Touch Mahal. He gave us interesting facts and stories about the history, the marble and the gemstones. His passion and knowledge brought the Taj Mahal to life and arouse our interest in the craftsmanship behind it. After a breakfast break, Ali took us to a place, where the craft of the creation of gemstone art in marvel was demonstrated, followed by a short sales presentation. At the end, Ali took us to Agra fort. His company was enjoyable, and his English was good. Our third guide Arbab (in Jaipur) showed us several places, Fort Amber being the highlight. He told us about the history of the fort, stories about the life back then and details about the different building materials of the two palaces inside the fort. Arbab is a funny guy, who originally studied engineering. His company was enjoyable and his English was excellent. Generally, I highly recommend the tour, just be aware that you will see and here many things in a very short time, which will be exhausting to some extent. Therefore, I strongly recommend to plan an additional day at the hotel before you start the tour. You should rest and gather some energy, because the tour will be intense. Basic hotels with Indian standard start at ~20USD per night, for western standard spend ~40USD per night, for luxury standard spend ~80USD per night. Don't book anything cheaper than ~20USD per night. Be aware of Taxi scams! Either take official taxis, which can be booked at the Prepaid-Taxi booths at the airport or use Uber. Uber is reliable but the cut they take from the rides is exorbitant, which is bad for the drivers. At the airport, buy a Simcard at the Airtel office. For ~5 USD (500 INR) you get 1.5GB of data per day for an entire month. The whole registration process takes around 20minutes, but it the Sim works reliably and doesn't need recharging, which is impossible with an international credit card. Avoid street food!

Nice tour of Jaipur's historical highlights - Arbab gave us a very nice tour with the highlights of Jaipur, showing us the wonderful views and explaining the history of the places. Sometimes the explanations were a bit hard to follow, but he also gave us enough time to explore and discover things for ourselves and take photos between the individual stations, which I greatly appreciated. Thank you, Arbab!

Golden Triangle 3-Day Tour - Overall good experience. Our driver Sonu was very nice and drove well, he was awesome. Our guide in Delhi, Tushar, was the best of the bunch. Rashid in Agra was good and so was Arbab in Jaipur. All very knowledgeable. However, we were taken to some tourist traps in both Agra and Jaipur and felt really pressured to buy highly, or overpriced, “artisan” goods. I would recommend saying no to these stops and instead have your guide keep taking you to the sites instead.
