It is often referred to as the ‘Tower of Victory,’ was constructed during the early 13th century. The monument is the brainchild of Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the founder of the Delhi Sultanate. It was originally built as a symbol of the Islamic conquest of India, marking the beginning of a new era in the subcontinent.
The Qutub Minar is a towering masterpiece of red sandstone and marble that reaches a height of 73 meters (240 feet). It features intricate calligraphy, geometric patterns, and decorative bands of inscriptions from the Quran.

Lotus Temple - The Lotus Temple in Delhi, India, is an architectural marvel and a symbol of peace and unity. This striking structure is renowned for its lotus-like shape, with 27 pristine white marble petals that open gracefully to the sky. It was completed in 1986 and is one of the most visited religious buildings globally, despite being open to people of all faiths and beliefs.

The Lotus Temple is the Baha’i House of Worship in India and serves as a place of meditation and prayer for people from all walks of life. The serene atmosphere inside the temple, with its nine pools and lush gardens, provides a tranquil escape from the bustling city of Delhi. It’s not just an architectural wonder but also a testament to the Baha’i principle of the oneness of all religions and the unity of humanity.

Humayun’s Tomb - Humayun’s Tomb was commissioned by Emperor Humayun’s widow, Empress Bega Begum, in 1569-70, and its construction was completed in 1572. It was built as a mausoleum to honor Emperor Humayun, the second Mughal Emperor of India. This elegant structure stands as a testament to the artistic and architectural achievements of the Mughal Empire during the early years of its rule.
Humayun’s Tomb is often considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal, as it served as an inspiration for the latter’s construction. The Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, exhibits a similar architectural style, with a central white marble tomb and beautiful gardens.
