Built in the mid-16th century by Haji Begum, Humayun’s Persian-born wife, the tomb beautifully combines Persian and Mughal architectural styles, with subtle decoration enhancing its design.

Qutub Minar - Qutub Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) - This iconic Afghan-style victory tower and minaret was constructed by Sultan Qutb-ud-din in 1193 to assert his dominance over the defeated Hindu rulers of Qila Rai Pithora.

Lotus Temple - Designed for peaceful worship, Delhi’s stunning Lotus Temple provides a serene escape from the bustling city. Shaped like a lotus flower, it features 27 delicate white-marble petals. The temple was created to unite different faiths; visitors are welcome to pray or meditate silently according to their beliefs. Note: The Lotus Temple is closed every Monday. If today is Monday, you can alternatively visit Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, a magnificent white-marble Sikh temple.

India Gate - This impressive 42-meter-high stone memorial arch, designed by Lutyens in 1921, honors approximately 90,000 Indian army soldiers who perished in WWI, the Northwest Frontier operations, and the 1919 Anglo-Afghan War.

Parliament House - This circular, colonnaded building, designed by Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, was the site of the 1947 transfer of power from Britain to the newly independent India, and it continues to host parliamentary sessions.

Taj Mahal - Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) - often regarded as the world’s most beautiful building. Constructed by Shah Jahan as a tribute to his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who passed away during childbirth in 1631, the Taj Mahal’s enchanting allure will undoubtedly be the highlight of your tour.

Agra Fort - Agra Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) - is a historic fort along the Yamuna River in Agra. It served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638 and is one of India’s finest Mughal forts. As you wander through the courtyards of this grand red-sandstone and marble fortress, the scale of its construction becomes increasingly impressive.

Ranthambore Tiger Reserve - In the afternoon, drive approximately 6 hours to Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, a favored national park in India due to its high density of tigers in their natural habitat. It was once a royal hunting ground and is home to tigers, leopards, and marsh crocodiles.

Upon arrival in Ranthambhore, check into the Jungle Resort.

Ranthambore Tiger Reserve - Experience an afternoon safari in the Tiger Reserve in a shared Jeep/Canter, providing another opportunity to explore Ranthambore National Park. In addition to wildlife, the park features lakes, palace ruins, traditional Chhatri, old fortifications, and a majestic 1,000-year-old fort.

Drive Ranthambhore - Jaipur (3-4 Hours Drive) & Afternoon Jaipur Sightseeing

Jaipur - After breakfast, check out from Ranthambhore Jungle Resort and drive approximately 3 hours to the Pink City of Jaipur. Here, the past comes alive in magnificent forts and palaces, blushed pink, where maharajas once resided.

Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel before departing for an afternoon half-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur.

City Palace of Jaipur - The City Palace is the residence of the royal family. It is a complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings, with palace structures from various eras, some dating back to the early 20th century. It is a striking blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.

Its origins are uncertain, but it is believed to have been extensively restored, if not built, by Jai Singh II (1734).

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - Photo Stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - Jaipur’s most distinctive landmark is an extraordinary pink-painted delicately honeycombed hive that rises a dizzying five stories. It was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh to allow the ladies of the royal household to observe the city’s life and processions.

New Delhi - After sightseeing in Jaipur, drive to New Delhi / Gurugram / Noida (airport/hotel/any other desired location), which will take approximately 5 hours. Alternatively, if you wish to continue your journey to another destination in India, arrangements can be made to drop you at Jaipur airport/Jaipur railway station or any other desired location in Jaipur.
