Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

On the first day, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Explore Delhi

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel for a sightseeing tour. This tour covers all the must-see places on any traveler’s itinerary to Delhi, including:

Old Delhi tour, Akshardham Temple, Gandhi Smriti, India Gate, Connaught Place, Humayun’s Tomb

This tour is perfect for learning about the history and culture of Delhi and for introducing yourself to this wonderful city. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3: Departure for Varanasi

In the afternoon, board a flight to the Hindu/Buddhist city of Varanasi. Your driver will drop you at the Delhi airport. Upon arrival at Varanasi airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, attend the aarti at the Ghat against the sublime backdrop of the setting sun. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 4: Varanasi

After breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of Varanasi, the religious capital of Hinduism. This sacred city, a symbol of Hindu renaissance and associated with spiritualism, mysticism, the Sanskrit language, and yoga, will take you through the hallowed realms of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple (from outside), Bharat Mata Temple, Gyanvapi Mosque, Benaras Hindu University (the center of learning and civilization for over 3000 years and the largest university in Asia), and other important monuments including the sacred place for Jains, the birthplace of Parsvanath, the twenty-third Tirthankar. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 5: Varanasi - Agra

Very early in the morning, drive to Daswamedh Ghat at the Ganges and take a boat ride with your guide on the sacred river to see the sunrise, the cremation Ghats, and the sacred rituals. Watch hundreds of faithful take a bath and pray on the banks. The entire scene comes alive as a reassurance of Hindu faith and spiritualism. Return for a walk through the cobblestone streets along the banks of the “Ganga” and see the buzz around the shops opening and selling holy beads, handicrafts, etc. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to the station to catch the overnight train to Agra.

Day 6: Arrival in Agra

Upon arrival, you will be picked up and driven to your hotel. After some rest, your private guide will show you around the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and the Baby Taj. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 7: Agra - Delhi / Onward journey

After breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to the airport or train station to catch the train to Delhi or Mumbai.
