The mutton chops were so render, chicken stew was yummilicious. Madam halwa is blissful and ended with our south Indian coffee. Darshan served us and provided us impeccable service as alwayz. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, ambience and service was just perfect. Sudhir took care of us too very well. Compliments to Chef Solomon was coming such delicious dishes.😋 Pooja

Dinner at Dakshin - As always food was excellent with attentive and personalized service. Special mention for Avnesh and Darshan. The grilled fish as starter and the boneless mutton from Andhra Pradesh in the main course will make your mouth water.

Dakshin serves the best South Indian food in New Delhi! - It's always a pleasure to eat at Dakshin--unquestionably the best "South Indian" restaurant in India's capital. What's special about this place is that it serves delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from all the five states in the South: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu! The staff, led by Manager Theresa Swamy and her team, is friendly, polite and helpful. Theresa always turns up in a lovely sari, and doesn't remember how many saris there are in her formidable collection! And I love the paan, served after a hearty meal; the leaves too seem to be coming from the South! And the jasmine garlands that await lady guests! What a pity that most north Indian ladies don't even pick them up! "My hair is short. Where do I put the garland?" asked a north Indian lady friend (who loves eating here) when I asked her after lunch if she would like one! However, a short-haired Sri Lankan lady friend gallantly accepted a garland I presented to her, smelt the jasmines for a long while, and coolly fixed the garland in her hair with a hair-clip!
