The final part of Delhi sightseeing concludes with a visit to the Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) & Chandni Chowk. The mosque was built by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan, using red sandstone, and his daughter designed a bazaar next to it called Chandni Chowk. It is the oldest existing market in Delhi from the Mughal era. You will enjoy walking through narrow streets with small shops selling spices and daily necessities.

The next destination is the remarkable mausoleum, Itimad-Ud-Daula. Built before the Taj Mahal, it is also known as the Baby Taj Mahal due to its entire structure being made of white marble, similar to the Taj Mahal. The mausoleum was constructed in memory of a royal courtier in Jahangir’s court. It features an impressive symmetrical design and four garden styles, for which the Mughals are renowned.
