Lotus Temple - A Baha’i house of worship built by the Baha’i community of India. Baha’i is a relatively new world religion founded by the prophet Baháʼu’lláh, who was born in Iran. It is one of the fastest-growing religions globally.
The temple’s design is inspired by the Sydney Opera House. We’ll explore the temple’s interior, meet Baha’i followers, or visit the information center during our visit.
This is our last monument visit in Delhi for the day.
Agra - After visiting the Lotus Temple, we drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway (3:15 hours).
Upon arrival, we proceed with a city tour.
Agra Fort - The second most visited site in Agra after the Taj Mahal. This fort was the center of power during the Mughal dynasty.
There are numerous royal palaces to explore within the fort. We’ll take you on a comprehensive tour, showcasing the royal palace of King Shahjahan and Queen Mumtaz Mahal, the most famous couple in India.
Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - Itmad-ud-Daulah means the “strong pillar of the state,” highlighting the importance of the person. This is the tomb of Jahangir’s father-in-law, who was also the prime minister and father of Nur Jahan. Often referred to as the Baby Taj due to its resemblance to the Taj Mahal, some describe it as the “Ornate Jewellery Box.” I’ll guide you through a complete tour of this site, both inside and out.
Mehtab Bagh - A historical garden located next to the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River.
This is the best spot to view the Taj Mahal at sunset. We’ll enjoy the sunset view from Mehtab Bagh and visit the Taj Mahal the next day at sunrise.

Taj Mahal Visit Then Drive Back To Delhi For Sightseeing.
Taj Mahal - Words cannot do justice to this place; you must visit to experience it.
We will visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. We’ll meet in the hotel lobby half an hour before sunrise for pick-up.
Sunrise is the best time to visit this beautiful, magnificent, extraordinary, and marvelous monument. Despite having visited over 2000 times, I am always excited to return.
Photos are essential, so I’ll be your photographer and guide. If you prefer, you can hire a professional photographer.
I’ll provide a brief tour of this stunning site with detailed information.
After visiting the Taj Mahal, we’ll return to the hotel for breakfast, then check out and drive to Jaipur, visiting several other places along the way.
New Delhi - After visiting the Taj Mahal, we drive back to Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway (3:15 hours).
Upon arrival in Delhi, we proceed with a city tour.
India Gate - A war memorial built by the British in 1931. This is a famous landmark in the city, inspired by the Arc de Triomphe.
Rashtrapati Bhavan - The residence of the President of India, built in the early 20th century by the British. While tourists are generally not allowed inside, we can explore the exterior. It’s a great spot for photos and appreciating imperial architecture.
Agrasen Ki Baoli - Leamigo - An 8th-century step-well built by King Agrasen of the Sena dynasty.
Many tourists are unfamiliar with step-wells, but on this trip, we’ll explore some magnificent examples in Delhi and Jaipur. There are around 100 steps leading down to the water. If you can manage the steps, great; otherwise, you can take photos from the top. It’s a fascinating place.
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib - The largest Sikh temple in Delhi, offering a great opportunity to learn about Sikh culture and heritage. It features a beautiful holy lake and a large kitchen.
I’ll take you to the temple to witness live prayers, then we’ll explore the kitchen, which serves over 30,000 people daily.
If you wish, you can volunteer in the kitchen with me for a few minutes. It’s a deeply satisfying and joyful experience.
Connaught Place - A modern market with various food chains, restaurants, spas, textile shops, and more.
We’ll drive through this market to get a feel of it.
Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - The largest mosque in India, built by Emperor Shahjahan, the founder of the Taj Mahal. The mosque houses holy relics of Prophet Muhammad, underscoring its significance.
There is no entrance fee, but a charge of 300 INR per camera applies. Foreign women are advised to wear a simple gown provided by the mosque authorities. This mosque is a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture.
Chandni Chowk - Also known as the Moonlight Market, it is the largest street market in the world, established by Shahjahan’s daughter in the 17th century.
We’ll explore this vibrant market on a cycle rickshaw ride, navigating the colorful narrow streets of Chandni Chowk. A short walk to see some heritage buildings in this old market is also planned. Another stop will be “Parantha Wali Gali,” a famous street for food, where we might try some paranthas.
Khari Baoli - Indian cuisine is rich in spices and masalas. Khari Baoli is the largest spice market in northern India, with over 3000 shops selling spices, tea, coffee, dry nuts, sweets, pickles, masalas, and more.
We’ll visit to experience the aromas and vibrant atmosphere. I’ll guide you on a quick walk through this bustling market.
