Delhi Belly Food Tour – A Love Letter to Delhi’s Street Food - I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience deserves one. As someone who’s always been fascinated by street food but a little hesitant about where to go, the **Delhi Belly Food Tour** was exactly what I needed. From the moment we met our guide, it felt less like a tour and more like being taken around by a food-obsessed friend. We walked through the buzzing lanes of Old Delhi, stopping at places that have been serving food for generations. The **parathas at Paranthe Wali Gali** were nothing like the ones I’ve had before—crispy, stuffed to the brim, and dripping with nostalgia. Then came the **kebabs**, smoky and tender, served with mint chutney that made all the difference. But the real star for me? The **chaat**—sweet, spicy, tangy, and crunchy, all in one bite. It was the kind of food that wakes up every single taste bud. And just when I thought I couldn't eat anymore, we ended with the **richest, creamiest lassi**, served in an earthen cup. What I loved most was how our guide wove stories into every stop—why certain places have been around for decades, how recipes have been passed down, and even fun little food traditions unique to Delhi. It wasn’t just about eating; it was about experiencing the soul of the city. If you love food, history, or just want to taste the best of Delhi without the stress of finding places on your own, this tour is **100% worth it**. Just come hungry—trust me, you’ll need the space!

Come hungry and learn about local life with a great guide. - This is a great way to explore Old Delhi with a friendly local and eat LOTS of the best street food available. Some of the food places are well known but for others you need the local knowledge to find them in the warren of streets that is Chandni Chowk. And it's not just about the food - you also visit lots of specialized markets eg wedding dresses, shoes and stationery. The spice markets are like none other with vendors selling all types of spices, dried fruit, nuts and teas. The guide makes sure you have a good time, eat lots of delicious food and learn about life for the locals. Definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent concept - Came for the food, stayed for the chaos! Every bite was a rollercoaster of flavors, and Anas made sure our plates were never empty. Delhi was incredible that day—where else can you find food from every state, sometimes even better than in its place of origin? Chandni Chowk is a foodie’s paradise, packed with endless dishes to try. Your belly might give up, but your cravings never will. Warning: You might leave addicted!

*GUIDE NO SHOW* Complete waste of our time! - It took us an hour through the Delhi rush hour to get to the meeting point on time which we did. Once we arrived, I messaged the guide to see where he was only for him to message back and say he can’t do it today, he can do tomorrow. WHY NOT MESSAGE US EARLIER?! We couldn’t do the next day as this was our last day in Delhi – a total waste of time and we lost the opportunity to experience a food tour because we picked a bad guide. I suspect that the group tour wasn’t busy enough as there was no one else at the meeting point so it wasn’t worth him doing it. VERY UNRELIABLE – PLEASE AVOID!
