Fun day out - I went on this excursion with my mum and we had a really fun time. It made a big difference being shown around by a local - I’m not sure where we would have started if we were on our own! Farheen and Adeel picked us up from our hotel, taught us some useful phrases in Hindi and told us about the history of Delhi.

Customised shopping trip in Delhi (old and new) - Great day shopping with Farheen accompanied by Adeel who was driving and providing the background history of all the landmarks . They were incredibly patient and took us to a great selection of shops in both old Delhi and New Delhi - and also took us to a delicious restaurant when we felt hungry. I feel I have had a taste of the real India now! Would strongly recommend

Put this experience on your list! - This tour did not disappoint! After reading all the positive reviews, I booked onto this tour as a solo female traveller. Farheen and our wonderful driver were both professional, friendly and very easy to spend the day with. We went around to specialist shops according to what I had asked for. I enjoyed the market along with the rickshaw and tuk tuk rides- what an experience! The shopping here in Delhi is not necessarily cheap- rather I purchased quality products from reputable stores. I am also very happy with a western style dress that I had made in my choice of fabric, which was delivered to my hotel that evening.
A must-do when you are in Delhi.

I was able to shop efficiently! - They also dropped me off at the airport and I was able to finish the shopping I wanted efficiently. We chose this time because the tour cost is low, but we are grateful to the Guide and driver for making the shopping experience safe and enjoyable.

Wonderful Day in Delhi - The Old Delhi market was amazing. So many things to see and explore. Farheen is as very attentive to the things I wanted to see. She showed me beautiful saris and other textiles. Both she and our driver were fun to talk with and they shared great information. We had a perfect lunch of butter chicken and garlic naan. I so enjoyed my day and did not feel as if they were hired guides but friends with which I was sightseeing.

Farheed Far-Exceeds expectations! - Farheed should forever be known as Far-Exceed because that’s what she did to my expectations today! When I booked this tour, I was hoping to purchase beautiful cotton and silk cloth to have some of my favorite dresses and shirts tailored. I was afraid that this would require going stall to stall in a marketplace, and that the quality wouldn’t be great. But Farheed brought me right to the source, a factory where ream after ream of gorgeous, high-quality textiles awaited me. The factory also had amazing tailors who could make anything that I wanted in a few days! I am more than pleased! Her tour partner Adil was full of interesting details to tell about places that we passed along the way, and his ability to navigate through rivers of traffic was like no other driver I’ve ever witnessed before! This guy’s got skillz!! Thanks again Farheed and Adil for a wonderful and fruitful day of shopping!!

Great Experience with Farheen - Farheen picked me up promptly at the airport in an air conditioned SUV, and immediately took me to a delicious restaurant because I was hungry after my flight. She kept in close communication with me before I arrived and so I had no worrries. She was enthusiastic and a fun companion, and she showed me all kinds of places. I had some special requests that Farheen helped me with, that were above and beyond the tour. I recommend her and the driver/historian Adil. Be aware that the Delhi traffic is brutal and must be taken into account time wise.

A wonderful and memorable day! Custom made clothing, handcrafts, spices, teas, carpets - whatever you want - Farheen was a great shopping guide as she knew which place to go to for all the particular goods, plus she helped with getting the right price. Adeel was a very safe driver and also could advise on all the sights we passed as he had a Masters in History! We went to places that would have been difficult or impossible to navigate alone - particularly recommended for solo female travellers such as myself. And going through the rambling market in Old Delhi by foot and rickshaw was as much a sightseeing highlight as a shopping highlight.

Perfect day - We had an amazing day, shopping, eating, great cuisine, wonderful conversations and a lot of laughter. We felt safe our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend Farheen and Adeel if you’re in need of honest, friendly, reliable tour guides.

Highly recommend! - I’m so glad I booked this at the beginning of my stay. Farheen took me to so many great places to shop and explore while telling me about the history and culture. We spent several hours at a textile place while I was choosing fabric and styles for custom clothing. She was very helpful with color coordination and narrowing down the hundreds of color options which were a bit overwhelming in number.
Next we went to chowk outdoor market and roamed around for hours. She knows where to get the best items and street food. She’s an excellent guide and gave me a lot of interesting background information on the area and sites.
As a solo traveler, I loved having a local person with me to know where to go and to help navigate these crazy markets and find so many quality things to buy. It really made a huge difference in my experience.
She also went above and beyond by picking me up at my hotel the next day to take me back to the textile mill for final fittings. She is an absolute treasure and a “must have” shopping guide in Dehli!
