- Red Fort - Now you will take beautiful pictures of the Red Fort from outside. This fort was built by the fifth Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. It was a beautiful residential palace for the Mughal dynasty, but you will be able to see this fort only from outside, not from inside.
- Qutub Minar - Inspired by and wishing to surpass the Minaret of Jam in Afghanistan, Qutbuddin Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi, began construction in 1193 but could only complete the base. His successor Iltutmish added three storeys and Firoz Shah Tughlaq added the fifth and final storey in 1368. The minaret is made of red sandstone, on which verses from the Quran and flowers and creepers are carved.
- Humayun’s Tomb - The main building is the tomb of the Mughal emperor Humayun and contains the tomb of Humayun as well as the tombs of several other royalty. The complex is a World Heritage Site and is the first example of Mughal architecture in India. The tomb follows the Charbagh style that later led to the Taj Mahal. It was built in 1562 on the orders of Humayun’s widow, Begum Hamida Banu Begum.
